Decent food, service, and atmosphere. I might order a sandwich over BBQ next time because the Reuben my friend ordered looked amazing. It's not that the BBQ was bad; it did slide right off the bone easily. It just felt underspiced for me, personally. Others might prefer it as is. The sandwiches seemed to really shine as their specialty. Fried zucchini was also worth it as an appetizer. I recommend it.
Service was very quick and on the ball, never letting our glasses become empty on a hot day- I appreciate that a lot. Our food also came out quickly- which I also appreciated. Our waitress was friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere was chill on a Saturday evening, listening to 90's hits. The Air conditioning was a perfectly balanced temperature.
I'd like to return and try other items on the menu; there were several tempting options on the menu I'd like to try.

Parking: This place is in a plaza with plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu and crayons to help keep a kid occupied quietly. However, they do not have milk or lidded cups. I might recommend this as a place for grade school kids or older. Or be prepared by bringing your own lidded cups to pour their pop into. The burger and Mac n cheese options for kids did look delicious and my kids gave rave reviews for their food. Two thumbs up!

It's not called Bobby D's anymore. It's JD's Place. The food is amazing, the staff is great and it is very affordable. One of the owners, Danny, is one of my favorite people to see. He genuinely cares about his customers. They have booths and tables on one side of the restaurant and then a bar and tables on the other side separated by a wall so not to disturb families. This place is for everybody! I would give it a 10 star review if I could!!!! You have to try the pot stickers and pepperoni rolls!!!

Local little restaurant bar. Awesome fish sandwich 4 sure! Haven't tried other things but was recommended for a good fish sandwich. I have ordered and picked up fish sandwich multiple times and thought it was great!Update from March 2024. This place was sold. I have not been back since it changed hands so can't provide any commentary. If I visit here again I will update with current information.

Great dive bar with amazing bbg. People very friendly. Good sevice.

The food was disgusting .we ordered a sampler and they had No sauce on the food . The ribs smelled like fish and just stink period . The brisket was dry and the Mac n cheese was plain . The pulled pork was dry also . The buns was hard to chew and the only thing that was good was the coleslaw . And I normally don’t eat coleslaw . I don’t recommend coming here to eat . I honestly am disappointed in that 48$ meal for me and my family . For me first time tryin they food. It was horrible .

I know this place has just recently opened so maybe they are still working out some of the kinks, but we had to ask for all of our sauces that were supposed to come with our apps, and my sandwich was supposed to have bbq sauce on it but I had to ask for it because it was dry. The smoked meats were tasty though. The “baked” beans were a disappointment, tasted like they just opened a can of pork and beans and threw them in a bowl. My husband got the Mac and cheese skillet and the cheese sauce was bland and very thin and his “Cajun” shrimp weren’t seasoned at all and still had tails on them. Probably won’t come back for awhile to see if they get their swing. Service was fabulous though!

Worst service I have ever received in my own community! The original owners were so good to their customers. The food in the past was amazing these people have no idea what to do or how to run a business my food was served completely wrong with cheap alternatives to the real ingredients. I was surprised when the manager/owner wanted to hear me out but kept insisting nothing changed oh has it changed dramatically ? I will never ever eat at this place again and I recommend you do the same it was the worst experience ever the owner made me cry and didn’t do anything resolve the original owners would have never treated me so poorly the foul language & activity in this restaurant is concerning to say the least I give it a few years & it will be shut down I pray you find clarity & become good owners but I doubt it since I seen your true colors when serving me.

Last time I went here, their Ruben was sad. All of the meat was piled in the middle, so my bread on the ends got thrown away, and their was So little sauerkraut that it was a surprise when you got a bite. Their Mac and cheese lacked flavor, their bbq was sad. It was cooked appropriately but the flavor wasn’t there, and their brisket nachos??? It’s like they used the fatty pieces of the brisket for the nachos, the cheese is the same in the Mac and cheese and offers no flavor. Hoping it was just the cook of the day but who knows. Food quality is at its lowest.
