Overall, I would say it's definitely good but results were widely varied. First off, the menu on their website is outdated (both in terms of the food they offer as well as the prices) and does not reflect their current offerings, so that made ordering over the phone a bit difficult. Some of the food was great–their mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were very tasty and clearly homemade and the smothered chicken, for me, set the standard of how good their cooking can be. Other menu items were nearly inedible–the puff puff was just flavorless dough that tasted of nothing but grease and the BBQ pork ribs were not ribs, but an indistinguishable mass of meat that was frozen in the middle. The prices are pretty reasonable considering the large portion sizes, but still on the expensive side nonetheless. I would love to come back and try some of their other food because it's clear they have something special to offer (would love it if they had a more up-to-date menu readily available), but unfortunately that is hard to justify given the overall inconsistency I've experienced thus far along with the high price point.
PS- They only accept cash, so keep that in mind before dining here as well.

They are delicious I always order the Efo riro and egusi with pounded yam when I’m visiting from Florida. Unfortunately tonight I ordered over the phone and I leave tomorrow morning for my flight, but I ordered an extra fufu and they didn’t put it in the bag which is disappointing since I paid extra for it to take back home…. Other than that the food is good just unfortunate I get home when they are closing in 10 minutes and they are 20 minutes away so I can’t do anything about it

I’m not sure if this wa a just a one time mistake or it’s normal. Food was horrible, I ordered the vegetable, it tasted very stale, the actual veggies was very soft, tastes like it’s been warmed over and over again for days, the meat was stale as well. Would not be coming back.

My son orders from Fabs here and there. I stopped because I was getting disappointed more and more. I guess he’s done now as well.
His chicken wings were under cooked and the stew he got was subpar. He called me like I was supposed to do something about it. So here I am writing a review 🤷🏽♀️
Needless to say, this place needs to get it together.

I was hesitant to order seafood platter after reading reviews but I’m here to tell you I’m glad I did it was so good and so filling I didn’t expect such large portions the jollof rice is fireeeeeeeee and I’m so full I didn’t get to taste the okra yet I’ll try later. Highly recommended !!!!!!!

My first time eating African food and I was blown away. They give you so much food that I could barely even eat half. Not to mention the staff were very kind and friendly. Only complaint is that the restaurant is not air conditioned, so I was getting a little bit hot.
First time trying this kinda food, the stew is heavenly, the beautiful woman at the register was so helpful, I can't wait to try more items from the menu!

So Boom, long story short,..... I wouldn't come back again, flatout?. The food was expensive, over $50 for nothing. I didn't even get my my main entrée( but thats my fault for not double checking the bag smfh) And that seafood platter that was $13 bucks wasn't worth the dusty paper that menu was printed on. The fried catfish was small and overcooked, the shrimp ( 4 counted) were most definitely out of a box, most likely the brand Seapak, and they were the nasty coconut ones ?. Then when it came down to the actual "African Food",.....Hot garbage. Like i said, i didn't even get my Goat stew smh but i sampled a piece of the meat from my homegirls entrée because we both got the same thing. It was oily, extremely tough and you barely got any meat at all. And to make matters worse, my friend also ordered some of that bread mess that we didn't get.... So yeah, we aint going back. A 40 minute drive trying to support the community and all i ended up with is a lighter wallet, a lighter gas tank and an empty stomach because we ended up tossing everything. Never again
