Can yall update your hours on google bc I just drive 40 minutes to your closed restaurant and I’m so Hangry 😫😫

I got the personal Platter for $20. Walked in an placed an order at the restaurant. There was no seating, just some booths to wait for take-out. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Someone took my order promptly. They told me 25mins, but it ended up being around 35min wait, during which time another customer came in and sat down only to leave after not being greeted for quite a while. They didn't provide any sauce even though it says it comes with some. I would've liked some butter for the crab. The sausage was way too salty. The corn on the cob was bland. The crab was decently cooked. The potatoes though were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately after seeing my bank statement a few days later, I got charged $29.76 which is far above the $20 listed price and I never got a receipt to go back and show them.

The food was so good. I loved how seasoned everything was! The service was great! Overall I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some good food in the area!

I had this place on my list to visit and often times places don’t live up to the build up and hype but this place met every possible expectation you could have. It’s SO GOOD. I’ll be back and everyone should visit if they are considering.

Tried the food for the 1st time last weekend. Had a lovely conversation with whom I believe is the owner. I kinda talked his ear off about the menu and we even talked about other establishments on the East Side. He was
very personable & friendly. The food was amazing. Everything was perfectly seasoned. My only issue is that I ordered and paid for the lobster mac & cheese but received the regular mac & and cheese, but it was excellent nevertheless. If you haven't tried it, please stop by. I had the salmon & rice, green beans & mac & cheese. 4got to take a pics of the food but here is part of the menu

Just because you can cook doesn't mean you should have a business. Waiting over 2hrs for food is unacceptable then got the nerve to be overpriced and only have half the menu available most of the time. Plus the times are always off never know when they are open or closed. Honestly not worth it and we will never be back again. Learn how to run a business, better customer service and put the time correctly when you're open just my 2 cents and maybe you'll survive the next 5 years. Shop at your own risk you have been warned.

I haven’t had there food since first open which about 2 years ago and it was delicious than and it was still delicious very consistent 🤤🤤and the service was amazing very welcoming and I love to see they are still going thank you guys I’ll be back🥰🫶🏽

I was looking for black owned soul restaurant. This one was in McKeesrock hard to find no outside sign or lights, no parking. I only seen 1 cook, he was also the cashier. Place was not that clean or place to eat in. The prices was very high. But I noticed when I do shop black restaurants price are higher then there counterparts. But we should support black owned but not if you price yourself out of a customer

Unfortunately didn’t have a good experience at this establishment. I wanted to treat my daughter to a nice meal to make her feel better. Not from the area so I looked the restaurant up good reviews. Drove from the other side of town.About 60 minutes or so each way. Order my food, he repeats the order back to me just fine. I don’t know all the prices because he said he would pull a price together. I’m thinking cool. I paid 34.00. Turns out when I pick the order up he wasn’t there. I get to my place, only one meal. And not my daughter’s meal. Pissed call no real action to fix the problem. Over charged me so I paid $34 for a chicken/fish dinner plate. He never mentioned one order placed. Terrible. Duped. Disappointed. Not good customer service at all. It’s a reason why some places don’t make it too long. I’m glad it’s better places.

Drove 40 minutes out of my way to come eat here and they’re closed!!!! Google says they’re open! This was a total waste of my time, very disappointed 😢
