We know american soils, animals and vegetation pale in comparison to Africa! But Inlove Fabs nonetheless! “It’s always nice to find a spot that serves you authentic soul food and this place does just that. It was my first time trying their food and it won’t be my last time. The food was so good. I wish I had a photo to upload but let’s just say the food didn’t make it home with me lol“

“I ordered the 12 piece wings with mama Gayle’s dry rub seasoning and it was better than expected,better than wing stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. The first bite I took, my mouth watered immediately,so far a 10/10. Can’t forget about licking the seasoning off your fingers.“

“What can I say? I love Carmi Express! Seriously some of the best ribs in Pittsburgh. The shrimp and grits is wonderful too. You can’t go wrong with any of their side dishes including yams, greens and baked beans. For a taste that will blow your mind enjoy the baked beans on the Carmi Express cornbread and you will thank me later.So happy to have this little piece of Heaven in the neighborhood!“

“Jazz and cosmopolitans. Great combination. So glad I found this place. Food wasn't for me as this month it was Indian themed and I can't have spicy food. $10 per person is added to your bill for the live music. Reservations highly encouraged. I walked in as a single and waited about an hour. As for the cosmopolitan... it was good. I enjoy the dried lemon wheel sometimes. I'm more of a wedge gal. The red lighting made it look a pale yellow. The glassware was cute and helped with 0 spillage. $12 each. Over all if you like live jazz it's a great night out.

Parking: Parking lot next door but during theatre shows it's full and extremely expensive. I suggest driving around and finding street parking. It's worth the walk“
