Visiting from out of town. Came on yesterday and I would have given 5 stars. Kitchen was closed so I missed the famous wings. Today we come back different bartender, couldn't get my drink then she kicks us out before closing. The point of a business is to make money. MONDAY NIGHTS BARTENDER WAS AMAZING!! TUESDAY'S BARTENDER SUCKS!!!!

Mellons pub is a great time. My buddy and me stopped in for a few beers and some wings. The wings were exceptional. We both ordered 6 with wing dust and some fries on the side. The wings were done perfectly. When you break them they break clean. If you know you know. The service was great. Overall I would recommend this place as a good location for a good time.

Although the wings are good, charging your customers a credit card processing fee, when they are paying with a debit card is illegal. As if that’s not bad enough, they also charge a $2 service fee on top of that. Meaning, the business is pocketing $4 off every transaction. Way to scam your customers.
Update: since the owner doesn’t know how to take accountability, or the law for that matter, here’s a simple screenshot to help 🥰 advice: a good business owner would take the feedback and do better, instead of consistently being passive aggressive to negative reviews. Now be nice before I report your faulty business practices and you lose debit & credit card processing privileges 😂

Only my group and 1 other couple there, took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged to get a drink even though got dirty looks coming. Tried to get bar tenders attention for another drink and was told “hold on a minute” with another dirty look while standing there talking to other couple about gossip, then other people come in and serves them while I wait. Rude. Bad service = no tip. You’re welcome by the way! Have a fantastic day!!
If I could give no stars I would. Rude owner, and rude staff. Just might have to come back with a bigger crowd and see if they can step up their game on professionalism and proper business etiquette.

Some confusion on Sunday night. Came in as usual and ordered a Baccardi and coke.
Server wanted to give me a small glass, and then put an opened coke into my drink from the cooler. I don't know where that coke came from. I told Jeremy that my regular server gave me the can, because I would always get 2 shots of rum for each can of coke.
She said, "that's why she isn't here anymore".
I has one drink and left. No reason for this...

I think you misunderstand. I always bought 2 shots for each can of coke, just not at the same time. It's the same thing overall. I just don't like a TINY drink.
I go to 2 bars regularly in the area that give me a can. Those with a tap give me a16oz glass with a lot of ice.
I have been getting it that way for the last 20 years, all over Pittsburgh.
We really miss the draft beer.
Not trying to run your business, just my experience and preference.
And yes I do get a can of coke from some local places, or at least a 16oz coke from the gun, with lots of ice.
Not a fan of small mixed drinks.

Experience first time going was great. Drinks were good service was nice just had a great time. Will be going back. I just need to see what happened to my photos on the juke box and our shirt we purchased. I didnt get food there yet but plan on it heard the wings were delicious.
