It's not the same as it used to be back in the day. The food used to be really good and tasted like home cooked meals. The whole atmosphere just different. I'm not gonna say it's horrible, it's just not the same.

Homemade food made fresh daily. Nice people too.
Great food for take-out. Never have had anything not delicious there.

I recently moved back to the area, I forgot about the Mt Vernon dairy. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had hot food. I got smoked ribs and cheesy potatoes, very yummy! Deep smoke flavor. On top of that very friendly service in store. Thanks!

Awsom Bbq and the freshly made salads so good. Best potato and macaroni salad super fresh. Nice friendly people and the place is spotless clean
This is an odd little place, kind of a half deli half convince store hybrid. I had a large shrimp po-boy. It was plenty of food and was very good.
