The bar experience was great before getting sat for dinner in this well established authentic Italian restaurant. The service was excellent, the server was very polite and well knowledged about what was on the menu. The fried zucchini is excellent and the trio of lasagna, chicken parmesan, and ravioli was the best! The sauce is superb as I make my own occasionally

I have been going to Tillie's for decades. I have never had service as I did yesterday. Maybe it was an off day. It was a Thursday night, 6pm. I get it's dinner time. The first time I call, I was put on hold for 5 minutes. I hang up, call again, 15 minutes. 8 minutes in, I get in my car to drive to Tillies to place my order. As I'm on hold driving, I was hung up on. I get there, go to the bar. Melissa never turns around to acknowledge me. I ask a waitress walking by if she can take my order, she does. As she takes my order, the phone rings, Melissa answers and takes the call. Melissa now asks another worker for a manager because the person on the phone said Melissa forgot an item. Maybe Melissa needs retrained because I had never experienced that type of service ever. Tillie and Lee would be so disappointed.

Drove past the back of this place 1000 times thought it was a body shop. finally was told there's a restaurant there so went in. Glad I did best lasagna West of denunzios.
Tillie's was recommended by a number of people, and I can see why! Food was excellent, portions were large, and very reasonable prices. The servers were all upbeat, and seemed to enjoy working there. The atmosphere was laid back, quiet conversations and relaxing music. We definitely will go back.
