Staff were friendly and helpful. The Good was good, pricing is way overpriced for the portion of food served. $20+ per person…

Awful. There was hair in the food. The staff was rude when told, even though we were still going to pay for the food. Do NOT recommend.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!! Don’t ever go to this establishment!! My friends and I went yesterday evening for dinner and we ordered queso for the table, we didn’t even get a quarter of a way through and I found a hair in it. After explaining it to my friends we decided not to say anything and just not eat the queso. After we get our food the one friend I was with was eating her rice and she pulled a long hair out of her mouth. All disgusted we decided to call the waiter over and when we did he was rude and said he would tell the manager but the manager didn’t come over. After we were treated like idiots because we made a complaint we decided to tell about the queso also. We said we were willing to still pay for the queso and the waiter laughed and said “well ya you will” we said go get the manager and when he came over he said all his staff wear hair nets and the hair could of got in our food from the environment or another customer around us. The menu was also misleading I ordered a quesadilla supreme and I made sure it had what I wanted in it and I omitted what I didn’t and I found mushrooms in it and it didn’t say on the menu that it had mushrooms. I will never go back to this place and I may be taking further actions so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
I wish I could give 0 stars.

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience dining at El Campesino. My friends and I visited for dinner and we found a hair in our queso dip. We understand mistakes happen so initially we decided not to say anything. However, shortly thereafter my friend found a hair in her entree . At that point we informed the waiter of the hair in the entree and the waiter’s response was very unprofessional. They were willing to comp the entree but were VERY dismissive and rude insinuating we were lying and there was no way the hair can be from their kitchen. After this we decided to inform them that it is very possible it is from their kitchen, as there was also a hair in our queso but we were still willing to pay for it. At that point the manager came out and in an accusatory tone stated that everyone in their kitchen has a hair net and if it “pleases me I can go in their kitchen and check.” We were also told by manager that the “hair could have flown from the table next to us or the environment in the air.” The staff was very condescending, accusing, and passive aggressive rather than trying to address any concerns of the patrons. The entree and the queso dip were comped, but the issue was not about having the meal comped. The issue was the the dining experience was below standards due to cleanliness of the food, taste of the food, and the staff treating their patrons like scammers over valid concerns.

This place is horrendous. My friends and I dined here and not only did we find hair in the rice portion of a meal, but also in the queso of our shared appetizer. We initially were going to not mention the first hair, but after the second, we felt like something should be said due to ineffective hygiene practices. When brought to our waiters attention, he was incredibly dismissive and rude and even said “that’s crazy”. When the manager was finally brought to correct the situation, he was ALSO incredibly rude and dismissive and so condescending to suggest that we could check the kitchen ourselves. On top of that, the food wasn’t even that good.

This is our favorite restaurant in general! The food is delicious, especially the chicken quesadillas and the nachos fajitas! The staff is always great and it's a very nice atmosphere. If you're looking for some great food consider going here!

The food at is a definite highlight, with authentic and flavorful dishes like the fajitas. However, the experience is let down by a lackluster atmosphere and inconsistent service. One waiter was rude, and there was a potential issue with a waiter pocketing change. Go for the food, but be prepared.
