From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly lived up to the sign above the bar: “The Gathering Place – Where Friends Become Family.” That sentiment truly came to life during my visit, and I left feeling like I’d discovered a new go-to spot. The ambiance at Lorenzo’s is a delightful mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The wooden bar counter, paired with sleek high-backed stools, gives off a cozy pub vibe, while the soft lighting and thoughtful decor—like the vintage “Lorenzo’s Italian Pizza” sign and framed sports jerseys—add a touch of nostalgia and character. The dining area is spacious yet intimate, with neatly arranged tables that make it ideal for both small gatherings and larger groups. String lights with little pizza slice decorations added a playful, festive touch, making the space feel warm and welcoming. I also couldn’t help but notice how spotlessly clean the entire restaurant was—everything from the hardwood floors to the countertops gleamed, and the bathroom was pristine, which is always a huge plus in my book. The food was nothing short of fantastic. I ordered an Italian sub, and it was hands-down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, with a crisp exterior and a soft, chewy interior, holding together a generous stack of fresh ingredients. Despite frequently driving down McMurray Road, I had no idea this place even existed until its sign just happened to catch my eye. It's definitely an odd location, tucked away in an unassuming building also housing a doctor's office.
I seated myself at the bar and, in a vain effort to convince myself that I was eating healthy, ordered the veggie pizza on a cauliflower crust, which was brought out very promptly by the friendly, attentive bartender. They certainly didn't skimp on either the veggies or the cheese, which I appreciated. Beer selection was pretty decent with about 5 taps, 2 of which were local brews.
The only minor complaint I had was that the decor felt a bit generic and sterile. But if you're in the area and need a pizza & beer fix, Lorenzo's is well worth seeking out.

Cool homey neighborhood kinda place with good food and friendly staff. Great bourbon selection at reallly reasonable prices. My wife got the steak hoagie and I the Italian. Both were very good. I had a few Sierra Hazy IPA's. A fresh beer clean glass (IYKYK) every time. An all around pleasant experience. Will definitely return.
Took my 91 year old Aunt here. She loves her pizza. It was good.

very disappointed with the check out process on check #54 on 8-4-2024. OK it was Sunday evening but the prices for a medium pizza, (5) 12oz soft drinks and a steak canzone included a 3% service fee for takeout and a 15% tip for the service of ringing up the $60 bill on the cash register Powered by Toast.
I will not be back ... you guys are way out of line.
