This place was terrible. We sat for 10 minutes before our sever even came over to us. We never got menus and she asked us if we were ready to order. I got the combo asking for well done and no onions. Well it still was a bit pink which is not a huge problem but it had onions which I don't like. We received our bill which was not even ours. Waited for another 15 minutes for her to return. I could have just paid for the 6 cookies and not my meals. After that she didn't come back. The bathrooms were horrible. A complete mess. Would not recommend it.

Very nice restaurant. 1st time visiting this location. Wasn't busy at time of visit, greeted as we walked in. Food came out quick and hot. Recommend the Mac and cheese bowls.

I normally am happy with the food. Today ordered 2 take out burgers medium well...they were more like rare ir medium rare! Crazy because they probably cooked more on the way home too. Had to cook them after I got home...I'll try to share a pic

Nice casual restaurant. Good midday service. The waiter was happy to make me a fresh pot of coffee at 300 in the afternoon. He also got my wife a better glass of ice tea. The food was good too. Excellent burger and reliable onion soup. So my question is, why can you get a nice lunch at 3pm in McMurray, but its really hard to find downtown. Everyone is closed from 2 to 5. In any case, this place is recommended.

This was my first time eating at Max and Erma's. I enjoyed my good. My steak was cooked perfectly. The plate was beautifully presented. The salad was bigger than expected and the croutons were some of the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the meatloaf and got onion rings as his side. It was a huge stack of deliciously crispy onion rings. Overall, a little pricy but well worth it.
