Ian and Ruthie were absolutely dolls and served me up the best drink of my life! This was a life changing experience and I will be coming back everday

I’m disgusted by the service at this Starbucks. The barista was obviously sick as she was wearing a mask and coughing. I understand not everyone has sick time and she may have needed to work but after coughing she handed my coffee to me by palming the lid of my coffee. So, instead of holding the body of the cup she place her palm across the lid where you would put your mouth to drink. I asked for a new lid and she was visibly angry for my request.

Hey! This Starbucks is horrible!!!!!! Everyone in the area knows how rude they are to the customers and backhanded and miserable they are. If you hate your job then quit, if you hate having a job that involves talking to people, then quit. I work in customer service and would never talk to my customers the way they talk to theirs. They are always very backhanded and just seem honestly miserable. I always prefer going to the one on 19 because they are so sweet there and make you like your not intruding or a burden. Thank you for reading this i need everyone to understand the severity of these people

Can they please be smart enough to put a sign saying DO NOT BLOCK the drive thru near the drive thru? There is a sign in the front right of the building saying don’t block the drive thru, the drive thru is in the back left of the building - can someone make it make sense? Anyone? How is signage in the front right of the building supposed to address a lane blockage problem in the back left of the building? Anyway thank you Starbucks for inconveniencing everyone who needs to use the second lane to go to the bank drive thru. Thank you Starbucks for being so self centered that you could care less about others and refuse to put up a sign near the drive thru.thank you Starbucks for making a task like going to the atm infuriating because I have to sit and wait for someone to get an order of coffee because the sign telling them to not block the passing lane is no where near where the problem is. The message Starbucks is sending by not bothering to put up a sign is they are crap corporate citizens and don’t care.

The older lady taking my order everytime is so rude! And it’s not just me, other people have said the same. I usually don’t write reviews but I usually prefer going to the starbucks on 19 simply because the atmosphere and service is so much better. They are so sweet there but here at the valleybrooke one the lady is just so rude everytime!

As ordered in the past at this and other Starbucks locations, I requested a Crispy grilled cheese on sourdough and asked that it be double toasted, otherwise it is soggy and not too Crispy!
I was told that it was not possible to have it double toasted. I mentioned that I have had my grilled cheese double toasted in the past at this and at other locations and I was told “they don’t do that at this location.”
Obviously someone doesn’t want my business so I went to the Starbucks 2 miles down the road where they cheerfully double toasted my grilled cheese and it was Crispy.
I will not be returning to this location.
Adios!
I came in on a Saturday evening recently to grab a cup for my daughter for Christmas. Being a dad, I wasn’t sure what is currently “in” right now, so I had to ask an employee for help. Emilia and Ruthie were very helpful in deciding. One came over to show me her favorites and the other was helping us decide. It was a great experience and I’m sure my daughter will love the cup.

This used to be a nice Starbucks until this last visit. I almost didn’t get my coffee because of some of the remarks they gave me because I missed one of their signs.

I am so disappointed with the last couple of trips I’ve made to the Valley Brook Starbucks. This most recent time, I ordered a sugar cookie latte with no foam add whip. I did not get the whip and there was definitely foam in my drink. I took the first sip once I was home and the coffee cooled down to find it had no syrup added to it. The time before my order was messed up and made iced instead of hot. When the new order was made it too lacked the add whip and 2 inches of coffee. It say this is infuriating is an understatement. $7 is a lot of money for a coffee, especially a messed up order. Disappointing to say the least.

I’m a big fan of predictive behavior. I normally tip for coffee until one day, I didn’t at this location. When noticing I didn’t tip, the cashiers personality became noticeably frosty. Big surprise that my coffee was barely drinkable. So my next visit, I tipped. Cashier was pleasant, my drink was great. So back and forth I went with my little experiment, which produced the same results. My issue? Tipping. I don’t mind tipping for great service. By I DO mind having to tip to ensure I get a drink that is drinkable. Starbucks barista pay averages around $14/hr here. It is starting to get ridiculous that everywhere you go anymore tips are an expectation. If you don’t like the pay, complain to corporate. Don’t punish the customers for not supplementing your pay, which is already pretty decent for making and serving coffee. You are getting paid an hourly wage to do your job, not counting tips from just about every other customer who feels obligated in todays tipping culture. The attitude when not tipped, certainly does not make me want to tip again, even if the drink is actually drinkable. Thanks again for the sugar free vanilla in my caramel macchiato that I did not ask for. Hope more customers feel free to to stop tipping on already over priced drinks. Mr. Conway would be so proud. Want to tip someone? Try a cashier at a grocery store and see someone who truly appreciates it and the unexpectant JOY it brings from someone who is also just doing their job without the expectation of a tip.
