I’m new in the area and yesterday. I’m just taking a walk and ended up at this place and it was cold and windy yesterday I decided to check it out. I got a pulled pork sandwich With their sweet barbecue sauce with baked beans and it was absolutely delicious and it warmed me right up and the prices are extremely reasonable and good. I paid 9$ for a huge pulled pork sandwich and Baked beans. It was the best pulled pork I’ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend you go!!!
Dude their smoked chicken sandwich is to die for!!!! I will NEVER go to another BBQ place again.

These folks are great each and every time! This is only my second trip, but not the last. My availability to get over to them isn't the greatest, so each time it's super last minute. However, each time, they have always been very nice to talk to and very generous with the portions. Today we snagged some pulled chicken and more mac n cheese. The kid is crazy about the mac n cheese and queso so those items have become automatic. The pulled chicken though was also amazing. Not overly smoked, tender, not dry, and whatever that seasoning combo used was perfect on it. They also cater, so I plan to use them again for some party trays next month! Thank you NR BBQ for being great in every way, and see you next weekend!
Kid-friendliness: These are family folks that support the local school community, no doubt they are great with all kids!

BEST PULLED PORK I’VE EVER HAD!!! So glad this place is right down the street from me! Best pulled pork nachos! Taco Bell has NOTHING on you!!! My husband loved the pulled pork mac and cheese boat! The pulled pork was so juicy and tender! I can’t wait to try the pulled chicken next! Also loved being able to grab dessert there too! Snowballs for the WIN! Sooo many flavors to choose from AND marshmallow topping, if that’s your thing! Let’s not forget about AFFORDABLE!!! You guys will definitely be seeing us more frequently! 10/10!!!

Great new restaurant right in McSherrystown! The service was fast and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pulled chicken sandwich was really good with their kickin bbq sauce and the pork sandwich was delicious with hot sauce. Coleslaw was good and I loved that it was made with purple cabbage! My son really enjoyed the mac and cheese. While we waited for our food we went over to get a shaved ice and that was good too! So glad there is a place we can walk to for a good meal. Great food, delicious sides, must try!

Hands down the best pulled pork I've ever had in the Hanover area. The best baked beans I've ever had in my life. And the mac n cheese is also amazing. You can't buy this quality of mac in the Hanover area.
They have a smaller menu but everything on it is the best in the area! To top it off, the prices are great! Especially considering how good everything is.

I’m VERY picky with bbq. I’m from west Texas and grew up having Texas BBQ all the time. When I got to the area I tried what I could from where I could and none in the 12 years that I’ve been here have came close to impress me. Except these guys. They have the simplicity that bbq needs. Don’t need to get fancy with it. Keep moving forward guys. I think I finally found a go to spot.
