An institution in Crawford County and well worth a stop of off I79. Get a foot long with the works - special sauce and sauerkraut - you won't be disappointed. The Smith's hot dogs are also a local institution. Cash only though so be ready. And for desert go a little further and get a come of frozen custard at Hank's.
Again I visited Eddie's during my annual fishing trip from Mason,Ohio to Pymie Lake in Andover, Ohio. It's always a traditional stop for me. I used to live in that area and it was a regular place to visit when I lived there. To me, the best Footlong Hot Dog in the World!
My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Erie. What an awesome taste of nostalgia! The dogs (the works) and fries were just as delicious as we hoped. We will certainly be back!
