I was in on Saturday and Sunday and both nights I had Julia as a server and she was excellent. She was only one working on Saturday and she did great. On Sunday it was her and another girl and they did fantastic. Great job and kudos to them girls!

Waitress was all confused and could not remember what was ask kept having to ask what was it we needed and the food was cold and over salted

Want to take the time to thank you and your employees for what could have been a disaster. Over the holidays we came to eat with a big group and didn’t have a reservation and they were extremely busy. I had my 90 year old mother with dementia and was the first time out in a long time. We sat in the back room and the server Jordyn was a doll from the beginning. She made us feel comfortable and accommodated our needs setting the table up. She got our drinks right away and let us take our time looking and chatting until we were ready to order, even though she was busy in the dining room she came over and many of us had questions which I know is frustrating when your busy but not one time did she get frustrated and helped everyone decide what to get. My mother spilled her drink and she was on top of it hit napkins and took care of it without an issue, we felt terrible but again she just said oh I am just glad it wasn’t me this time. We ordered and food came out and somehow she remembered where everything g went all 21 of us. We felt like we were her only table and made us a priority. The food was excellent but the service was beyond exceptional and manager Peggy came around and talked with us and made sure we got what we needed. I just want to thank both of them for the warm hospitality and this will be our destination when we’re in the area again. It meant more then you know as we don’t know how long we have with our loved ones and people like this make those memories to treasure even more. Thank you also to the cooks as they are definately an asset to this company.

Jordyn was our waitress and she did an outstanding job! Very friendly and so personable! We really enjoyed our meal here in Meadville thanks to Jordyn!

It was late an hour before closing and the place was pretty empty, so we asked the girl at the counter if they were closing up and she said No please come in we are slow, and I am wanting something to do she said with a small laugh, so we sat down and my wife ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered a breakfast burger with fries, best burgers ever! the fries were cooked perfectly and came out hot and crispy and we always eat them with a side of brown gravy, we enjoyed it very much and when she asked about desert, she showed us a pie menu with pictures which made it hard to resist specially when I saw the caramel apple pie! I have to say they have the best pies I have had in a long time the crust is usually my least favorite part of any pie, but this was out of this world good, it had brown sugar mixed in with it and it was flakey and delicious! I wanted to buy the whole pie, but she said it was the last piece, must be the most popular. We went back in the next day for breakfast, but we didn't have the same cook, and I really can't say the food was not good, but my bacon was burned beyond recognition, and they still served it like that!? and they really have no idea what over easy means, my eggs were over cooked as well, the French toast was good the pancakes were good and the hash browns where tasty, but the sausage could have been cooked a little longer. The place was fairly busy, and they are understaffed because we saw help wanted now hiring signs outside the door, but Perkins has always been one of our favorite places for breakfast when we travel on vacations.

We like everything about Perkins but you used to be able to substitute sides and you can no longer do that

Wait time and service were absolutely terrible the last two times I visited. Friday the 6th wait for a table was 10-15 minutes and there were only 20 people in the dining room. Today the 8th the wait time was over 15 minutes and there were empty seats. Three different couples each with one of the guests using a walker were discouraged by the long wait and refused seating in empty seats left due to the horrible service. Immediately after they left 2 men were seated in the same seats the other guests were refused. At least two groups of people left because the the ongoing situation. Then the discussion between staff and a manager about how it was not their fault that someone complained.

The staff was fantastic,and the food was great.

What can you say about perkins? Great family food with a great atmosphere.
