The Whole Darn Thing Sub Shop

Fresh and delicious! Best sub I’ve had in a long time. I will certainly be going back.

This is a little mom and pop sub shop. I ordered gluten free items. They will ask “allergy or preference,” and if you say “allergy,” they will change gloves and make your food in a separate space, but still in front of you such that you can see the whole process. There’s still a small risk of cross-contamination, but it is a sub shop after all. As far as taste goes, GF Wedge substitute for bread was good, the flatbread was not.

Now about the service- it took forever. I arrived at about dinner time on a Saturday and was in line for a long time. When it was my turn to order, I got the employee with a bad attitude. She has dark hair and a tattoo on the back of her neck of a skeleton hand giving you the middle finger. If you have the same misfortune- the trick is to MATCH HER ENERGY. Do not hesitate. Be blunt and loud and clear when you speak to her, just like she is with you. You will get what you order, if it’s GF it will be safe to eat, and the whole experience will feel like the “Soup Nazi” episode of Seinfeld.

The other employee there also helped with my order, and she was lovely.

I’m not from this town, but this is definitely a fantastic sub spot. I loved the rouben and the italian, and would definitely come back for those.

About the staff: one girl that was finishing preparing the subs was super nice and lovely. The other one, who was taking the orders, was the rudest person ever. I NEVER complain on this plataform, specially about service, because I believe people might be having a bad day or whatever. But this girl was simple mean. She was throwing stuff, mistreating every client, even a poor old lady.
The other girl apologized more than a few times, when I went to pay and mentioned about the incident. She was so nice.
She said she even tried talking to her.
That girl has to be fired, her rudeness is simply unacceptable. I am very sorry to have to say this. I did not rate the place lower because I dont think others should be blamed because of her.

Never answer their phones. I assume it’s bc they close in an hour 1/2, lazy!!! It’s known to be a thing with the meadville location

Did they still make an excellent sandwich? Yes, almost as certain of that as I am that I am an idiot. Anyway, off to forget my wallet at home then go to the bank.

Not sure what's better - the food or the service. Both are excellent. Also great for gluten free. They have a separate oven and they change gloves and there's no cross contamination. Boba tea is very good too!

Outstanding sub. We really enjoyed our spicy Italian. Everyone that was there on Sunday was extremely helpful and friendly. Next time I will be getting the roast beef, they cook it in house and our sandwich maker brought it out of the oven to show us and it looked perfect! Our first trip will definitely not be our last. Keep up the great work!

We love the Jacks Club! The subs are huge and easily feed two adults and two toddlers. It’s very affordable and the food quality exceeds expectations!
