Went here tonight for the dinner with “Stitch” with 3 of my 4 kids. It was nice of Barnaby’s to host such an event as we’ve gone here before multiple times for dinner and drinks and we live within walking distance of here. The issue tonight was the hostesses taking names / reservations. I literally was standing directly in front of the hostesses (two of them) upon arrival and wasn’t acknowledged whatsoever, for over 5 minutes. No eye contact, no hello. The hostess was trying to make outbound calls, presumably to seat people on their list for this dinner. Annoyed, I went to the bar and grabbed a drink and when I came back from that, my wife said they still didn’t acknowledge her or put our name on the list, but added other names and seated people before us. We took a picture with Stitch then left the restaurant and ate elsewhere. The service and the food is inconsistent at best, and it just sad that this new generation of younger people don’t have people skills. If you work in the service industry, which I’ve personally done over 20 years, you need to be able to have at least basic customer service skills. This wasn’t just my experience tonight, I watched the hostesses rolling their eyes to other people and when other clients came in to ask the wait time, they said “at least 45 minutes.” I saw people without children ask how much longer? And they were like oh you can sit outside if you want… but while rolling their eyes and blatantly showing annoyance between themselves. The management and ownership need to reconsider who they’re hiring at the front. Hostesses set the tone and I watched multiple customers leave there tonight without being seated, including me and my family.

We had my wife and her twin sister’s birthday party there with over 70 people. The event was well organized and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They were patient with our younger guests. Everyone said they had a great time. Thank You to Barnaby’s for a great job!!

Shame on you for making such a strong and hateful political statement. It’s unfortunate that you are broadcasting yourself as standing with bigotry and racism.
The food is actually really good and super affordable for an entire family. Just seems like every time we come - the service is slow. I don’t think they have enough people working because it also wasn’t that busy. Food and price definitely makes the slower service worth it though! We visit here regularly and will continue to!
