Bagels are great, but the chicken caesar wrap was inedible. I threw it out after a few bites. Honestly, just take it off the menu if you aren’t going to put it in the time to make it taste good for customers…one of the worst wraps I’ve ever had.

Update: May 23rd. Came in to buy their delicious crumb cake, so good! Maria was Awesome. Going to really miss this place.
A month prior: The bagels are so good that I haven’t forgotten that I owed them a review from two weeks or so ago when we were in Media visiting son at Swarthmore. The service is great. Two ladies, young and a tad older/probably the owner were very pleasant and helpful. The younger one recommended the Crumb cake and I am so thankful, she did. It was so good that I ate it over the next three days trying to make it last, as long as I could. Will definitely stop by on next visit in April.

I would give 5 stars - only thing is I'm never 100% confident that they'll be open when I go there. 3 times now in the past 2 months, they are closed on days they are normally open. Bagels are good for PA, tho.

Mediocre bagels served by people who all seem to be struggling through their first-ever day on the job. Three people this morning said "can I help you?" and immediately walked away without helping anyone. Five minutes later, they finally took the order of the guy at the back of the line without helping the rest of us! I had to shout for service.
We got the last chocolate chip bagels, and they were flat and dense. There's 3 better bagel places closer than this place.

I was going to Manhattan, where my last purchase was absolutely shameful receiving a mix of stale and fresh. By accident, I found Custom Bagels. Got 1/2dz the first time just to try them. I liked the taste, especially the cinnamon raisin. I did go a second time as well. I know we are a distance from NY and must suffer the downsize with the miles, but I was working in North Jersey and I stopped at a bagel shop up there. Look at my photos and you will see what we are missing. I think it’s unacceptable that we get so little and pay more money or about the same cost compared to a bagel just 125mi away! Our PA bagels are the literally the size of a Dunkin’ donut! Why not leave the bagels a little closer the size they used to be before the pandemic, and charge a few cents more?? We are getting screwed no matter what. The size of Custom Bagels and Manhattan are absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. I wish I could make my own. The photo of the bagel on the right is from some bagel shop in North Jersey. To the left is Custom Bagels. The comparison is outrageous and these shops should be embarrassed to rip people off. I guess they feel entitled to short and deceive us since 2hrs is a long way to drive for a substantial and acceptable bagel.

Best bagels in Media for sure! I could eat them every morning. My fav is an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lightly toasted.
