I wouldn't expect it from a Middle Eastern restaurant, but they have the best cheesesteak in Delco hands down. Fresh seeded role, good quality meat, fully packed and cheese nicely melted in. Phenomenal. The middle eastern food is good too.

If you’re middle eastern then definitely don’t eat here… we got the shawarma platter and it’s nothing close to shawarma.. weird flavors, no rice, weird textures… you also only get ONE small piece of pita bread.. $4 for 3 undercooked falafel pieces is a robbery..,

We come to Desert Rose once a year and it’s always a treat. The team is warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently excellent. The chicken shawarma is perfectly spiced, and we were thrilled to learn the secret to their creamy hummus from the chef. I travel to the MENA region often—this spot in Media really hits the mark..

One of my favorite Media restaurants, I ordered catering to go for my coworkers and Desert Rose hit a home run! Lots of compliments. I try to get felafel and shawarma sandwiches for home every so often too.

Absolutely great food consistently. Their falafel sandwich is outstanding, as is their brisket. Healthy, clean, and delicious.

So when a local told us this place is where to find the best cheesesteak in town, you can imagine we had some doubts about a Mediterranean resto but wow! Were they right! Fresh and generous ! My choice of falafel, hummus and beet salad was scrumptious. Just wish we’d thought to bring a bottle of red. And the prices are really reasonable!

This place is simply fantastic. I would recommend you try practically everything. My favorites were the baba ganoush, chicken shawarma, hummus, falafel, and of course the baklava. Last but not least were those portobello mushrooms with onions, they are prepared so deliciously that I had to have seconds. Treat yourself, and try out Desert Rose. They also do take out orders.

Came here on a work lunch, and everyone was raving about their meals. Everything is so fresh and so delicious. Chicken is cooked perfectly. Hummus has so much flavor. You get a huge portion for what you pay for. And to finish it off, I highly recommend the baklava !

I really enjoy having lunch here the people are so friendly and the food is delicious. The best chicken shwarma in the trip state area. Always fresh and cooking right in front of you. We had left overs for two more meals. Time to visit again soon.

Karan made the best Shiha in the world. He knew how to make it and was very friendly. Try it out. The best in Doha!
