I concur with the reviews that called it hit or miss. Enchiladas are made with flour tortillas which made them a bit soggy and mushy compared to what you'd get with a corn tortilla so that wasn't great. The filling for them was good though if you dig that out. The bean soup was really good, so that was a win! I also liked their salsa, it has great flavor and the chips that come with it were good too. It's BYO, so plan ahead if you want a drink. Our food also all came out at the same time: chips/salsa, soup, and entrees so it would have been nice to have them staggered more. By the time I got to my beans and rice with the entree they were cold. I wouldn't go again necessarily but I don't regret going for a first time. Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly.

I was there yesterday and got 2 gringo tacos with steak & sour cream. I think I was overcharged, as the menu price was $8 and my total came to $12.19. I understand that there would be tax and an upcharge for the sour cream (which I never got) but $4+ more than advertised seems like a lot. Other than that, the service was friendly and the food was great.

I would appreciate when ordering something, that the wait staff tells you when there is an upcharge! We were new to this place and when asked about smothering my husband asked what that was and agreed to it. I had also ordered something and didn't realize that there was an upcharge! I was a server for years and would tell customers if there happened to be an upcharge!

I regularly order takeout from Dos Gringos because the food is enjoyable and the service is extremely fast. There was only one occasion where I didn't receive my food within 15 minutes.The only area in which Does Gringos can improve is with its consistency. Usually the burrito I order is very enjoyable, but sometimes they will have very little in the way of flavor. But that happens infrequently enough that I can say this is a very solid restaurant choice especially for a quick grab and go option.Parking: Parking is readily available unless Media is popular. You will have to walk a couple blocks in that case.

Food: The food did not have much flavor. I had to use a lot of hot sauce in order to taste anything. I had the Tacos Gringos with chicken and the Tacos Mexicana with chorizo. The meat did not appear to have any seasoning.Cute place. Vegan and gluten-free options.Service: The waitress asked, "How was everything?" She was GONE before I could open my mouth to answer. Perhaps she really didn't want to know?
