I usually order from a different location but decided to try the Granite Run location instead. Placed my order online. Walked into the store and was pleasantly greeted by the staff. What a nice and wonderful surprise. Our food was great as well. Iâll definitely be going back.

I was initially greeted well. But after paying the cashier asked in an almost threatening tone âwhy didnât you tip?â
I checked the receipt, Martin V. was the cashier.
While I was waiting, the same cashier prepped my food, but was also staring at me.
Not only was I worried about him doing something with my order, I also just didnât feel comfortable.
The same cashier also handed me my order, but this time demanded ânext time you should tipâ
I probably should have talked to the manager, but unfortunately I didnât have much time.
Overall, I think the service at this 5 Guys has gone down dramatically.
Not just for asking about a tip, but just the overall experience. Iâve been going for years, and this was overall just a bad taste in my mouth.
I also looked at other reviews, apparently Iâm not the only one that has experienced this.

Five guys are always consistent and clean. Their burgers are delicious, fresh, and quality meat. The mammoth burgers always come with two mouth-watering patties with the option to add a plethora of free toppings. The cheese dogs are also a surprise favorite. The fries are off the charts. There is always service with a smile :) Janeeka went above and beyond to serve me at an ultimate level that is rare to find today.

I always heard 5 guys was expensive, and this ahure does live up to that. However, the one meal was enough to feed two people. More importantly, the service was really nice. I probably won't go again just because of the price being a little out of the range of what I am willing to pay. However, if you're the target audience, I'd go to this location based on service.

Please fire the African American female (black shirt) employee. We came in today, a day where we had a local storm and power outage, so most fast food places that were open and had power were a lot busier. This 5 guys location was no different, and in her defense I get how hectic and overwhelming the rush that they were in with only 3 team members working might have been, but at the end of the day you have to do your job.
For the entire duration me and my gf were there waiting for our food she kept loudly saying for everyone to here randomly or when another customer would walk in âWe donât have any more meat (pause) ! Sorry! Weâve been busy for 3 hours!â âThink about us too! Weâre hungry, weâre tired, we have to use the bathroomâ âyall are really working meâ like youâre complaining that youâre having to do your job? Then quit? Why are you mad at customers for wanting to buy food at a food establishment? It didnât make any sense, and like I said I sympathize with how busy it was, but her attitude and energy and the sarcastic and petty remarks that she would say to her coworkers about the customers as if we all couldnât hear her is just unnecessary and honestly unprofessional as a manager as I would assume thatâs what she is considering the other team members had on red shirts opposed to her black one. What set me off was when she got to me and my gfs order and told us they were out of bacon for my burgers and j said thatâs fine could I just get a refund or something else on top of what I ordered seeing as though the bacon makes it more expensive. She noticeably gets annoyed and she says âI can give you a mile shake, a drink , a fry, I just want to hurry up and make your burgerâ like I wasnât rude or confrontational at all and again her energy was just extremely off for no apparent reason. Sheâs a horrible representation of your business and Iâd look elsewhere for a new team member, expeditiously!

Super legit, apparently they wait to cook the fries for mobile orders until you arrive because it keeps them from getting soft. 10/10 wow
