I came here with my wife and we both enjoyed it very much. What stood out immediately was the menu, it’s the most authentic mexican menu Ive ever seen. The owner was very friendly, attentive, and informative and the food was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy mexican cuisine, I highly recommended giving this place a try. You won’t be disappointed ??

Media has a number of good restaurants, but Hidalgo is a favorite. This is real homemade Mexican food, as good as any I've ever encountered. They even take the trouble to make their own mole from scratch, not from a jar. Family owned and run, pleasant and relaxed. A gem.

I went yesterday ordered tres leches and chicken quesadilla, I have been eating at many places but this one isn’t what I expected. I had the best tres leches in OhioI know I can’t expect the same taste but this was uncooked and it was expensive. When I went the restaurant was empty no customers but the lady took nearly 20 mins to come to my table and take the order.

This is a hidden gem. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and a restaurant with character, this is the place. The food is amazing. It's not your typical Americanized Mexican food. It is byob but they make an amazing virgin margarita which you are welcome to byoTequila. Soledad is an absolute sweetheart and every time I have been there, I've been able to enjoy her sing a song for someone's birthday or just for the crowd. Definitely a must try!

Went for dinner and food was excellent! Had the Sopa Azteca and the broth was so tasty. The Tacos huastecos were meaty and again so tasty. My son had the Enchilados and he said they were some of the best he’s had. Overall, a delicious and reasonable meal with great service!! Highly recommend!
