I have tried calling multiple times over the past few days to place an order, it has continuously gone to voicemail everytime. I am not sure if they are closed but i don’t see it posted anywhere. This used to be a great place for a quick bite but I am disappointed with how downhill this place has become.
This was my second time coming here. This experience was not the best. The waiter took forever to come take our order, I had to flag her down. The food was not good. Overpriced. The food was cold, coffee not good. They are trying to be a fancy restaurant. Stick with the basics and just be a diner. Get better cooks and wait staff.

I especially love their special sandwiches.
Parking: Parking in Media is inconvenient and somewhat expensive.

I don't revel in making a bad post. This place was recommended by a local in the sterling pig (see my review on that, highly recommend) and I had high hopes for House.
The location is nice, the building and interior is nice. The presentation was excellent. Everything was hitting on all cylinders! I was excited.
The menu included frou frou items as I expected but much to my excitement they had standard faire too! Whoop!!!
The meals both looked awesome. But that's when things derailed.
The potatos were dry - I don't know how else to describe it. Weird and flavorless. The eggs were ok, hard to mess that up, but over all it was a let down. My fiance had a different experience, her eggs benedict were as she put it horrible she took two bites and we had to call it. We talked to the waitress and said she can't finish this meal it's terrible. The waitress got rather indignant and told us that she would take 30% off of our meal and it was much to do about getting her to drop my fiance's meal entirely. I ate mine it wasn't great but I was willing to pay for it no problem with that but you shouldn't have to pay for something that was not edible.
There was so many things wrong with her meal it's hard to explain. I am a huge potato eater and I only ate a quarter of mine because they were just not very good.
The service was subpar and food was not great. I don't like giving out bad reviews but I wouldn't go there again.

I ordered waffles with strawberries, and was given waffles with peaches. Instead of staff coming out and letting me know that they ran out of strawberries she assumed it was okay to bring me something I did not ordered.

Lackluster and overpriced. This place needs to shut down so people can use the sidewalk again

No AC the day we went, so can't really comment on atmosphere. It was stuffy and sweltering.

One of my favorite local restaurants to visit on a regular bases. Their menu is wonderful with just enough choices for all lunch options (salad, soup, sandwiches). I typically order my usual salad, but I paid attention to the SPECIALS BOARD today. What a delicious delight... roasted golden beets, slaw, swiss and maybe something else yummy was thrown on the panini. I can't tell you because I scarfed it down too quick. So fresh and delicious! This is a MUST VISIT.

Nice cozy brunch spot. Food was good and service was excellent
Disclaimer: Came here for brunch today without looking at reviews or menu. Was pleasantly delighted in the beet rueben special, large delicious sliced beets with a yummy slaw. I was asked if I wanted house fries as a side - large potatoes came out so a little disappointed. Really shouldn’t be sold as “fries”. As for everything else ordered at the table (burrito, brisket skillet, and kids mac) was just okay. One meal did not come out until most of us were done eating. No apologies or acknowledgment that it was clearly forgotten. One person in our group has a gluten allergy and they were very confusing about how they ensure no cross contamination.
