Service was good. Food was fast. However the eggs came out pre chewed, bacon was murdered under a press and the toast was over done and hard. When asked about the food, I simple said the food was OK but I wasn't happy with the eggs. Server offered to remake which i declined. She insisted so I said sure. At that point a lady came out to ask what was wrong. I explained that the eggs where so broken apart that I cant even get a fork into or under them. Basically needed a spoon. She got rude and said thats how she makes them. I said it's not how they a traditional served. At that point she said I can come back to the kitchen and tell them how to cook. Really!? Found out she is an owner. This might explain why its empty on a Saturday morning.

It was our first time at The Corner. The Hostess who greeted us at 8:00 am was so rude!! And of all days, Mother’s Day! Never in all my years of eating out, have we been so poorly treated. We left and went to our usual spot where the atmosphere is friendly, staff is gracious & the food is good.

A neighborhood staple! The owner is awesome, and their whole staff are super nice and warm people. The food is consistently excellent. What more do you want?! Come for breakfast!
