La Belle Epoque is my favorite resturant in media! The mussels with that amazing sauce is so so good! The hanger steak and duck are our go to! Fresh strawberries hazelnut chocolate and crepes with some fresh whip cream was like heaven! We love this reaturant !!!! Our waitress couldn't be any better! So nice and waited on us with professionalism and ease !
The whiskey sour was good and prepared correctly (shaken and poured into the glass...although the waiter should have asked what kind of whiskey I wanted before I asked, “what kind of whiskey they were going to be making it with” and he replied, “what kind would you like ?” The escargot was good (the snails were piping hot). The Cesaer salad was perfect (yes, the Waiter asked if I would like ground pepper, which I did). The filet was overcooked and disappointing...the Waiter asked how I would like it prepared, which I replied, “medium” and when received and I started cutting it and there were no traces of any pinkness and cut it in half lengthwise to find zero traces of any pinkness hue, I tried to eat it but it wasn't really possible in its state...and when the Waiter returned, I asked him, “does that look medium” and he replied, “no, it doesn't and offered to take it back, I refused stating, “I'm just going to cut it up and take it home for The Dog”...the chocolate mousse, crème brûlée and coffee were excellent. The Waiter did comp the mousse for the overcooked filet. The check total was surprisingly affordable. The follow up staff was excellent. I thought it would be beneficial if the Waiter have introduced himself...personal service = greater gratuities. Overval, it was mostly good
This was our first visit and we are looking forward to returning. My wife said her pan-seared scallops were delicious. My grilled salmon also was delicious. The crepes we had for dessert were a perfect end to a wonderful meal. The service from Nicholas was just the right amount of attentiveness.
Wonderful, traditional French bistro in Media. Professional and friendly service and delish food. Loving sitting outside on a pretty fall day!
Authentic French Food. Quality food and beautiful preparations. Good wine selection. Thoughtful specials.
My colleagues and I had an excellent experience, as usual! We have been meeting there for many years for brunch and the food and service are consistently outstanding. I love their La Mer crêpe with a side salad. We spent a few hours there and never felt pressured to leave. We will be back!
Came here on a Brunch Date and we really enjoyed ourselves. The brunch menu is extensive with a diverse list of food offerings. The pancakes with fruit were delicious, as well as the crepe provincial. The ambiance was buzzing, but quiet enough to have an intimate conversation. I'd definitely come back!
They took a 7:30pm reservation on a Sunday and were clearly annoyed that they had done so. When we arrived we were “greeted” only by being informed that they were closing in 30mns. The waiter clarified that it was only the kitchen that was closing, but she was clearly annoyed, too. Rude, dismissive, deeply unprofessional. Food is unimaginative but serviceable bistro fare; service is awful. Won't be back. They knew we were coming from out of town to celebrate our son's 18th bday while he's at college. Didn't care. If you don't want a reservation at that time, don't take it.
lovely outdoor dining experience. The mussels here cannot be missed! The sauce is absolutely incredible.
It's hard to say which was better the food or the service. Our salads were brought out just as we finished our cheese plate. And our entrees arrived after finishing our salads. This was attentive, and in no way made us feel rushed. Someone came around at least 3-4 times to top off water, and every time I got near the end of my drink our server appeared to ask if I wanted another. We each got one of the specials, mine was a pork chop with caramelized onions and Swiss. The chop was thick, and generously sized, not too big, and cooked med-well. I throughly enjoyed every bite. Definitely make reservations for after sundown though; despite awnings I kept getting annoying flashes glinting off cars driving by.

Our server was great. The ceviche was an excellent start and the barramundi special was delicious. A perfect place to spend our 38th wedding anniversary. Cheers.
We were able to eat our lunch outside which enhanced the experience. Our food was top notch and our waitress though overworked was attentive.
My friend and I each had French onion soup, I had the crepe provencale, and she had the seafood crepe. We both agreed that everything was excellent! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable . Definitely planning on going back!
Food was delicious! Great service. A little disappointed that a birthday dessert didn't come.
Food, atmosphere, and service were all incredible. Expect a truly delicious meal, friendly and attentive wait staff, and a cozy yet elevated atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough, we will be coming back again and again.
