Experienced a small gathering here and ordered the Croque-Monsieur and oh my I don’t know if I was expecting what I received but it was perfection! I ordered with the egg on top! Delicious! Would order again!

Absolutely love this place. We've been here for brunch, dinner, lunch etc. We've had almost everything on the menu and it's fantastic. The food is great, and the drinks are great. We couldn't be happier about La Belle being in our hometown.

La Belle Epoque always impresses. Their menu is excellent from top to bottom. Their consistency is something to which every restaurant should aspire. I have visited many times and I am always excited to return.

Could be a little more welcoming. Service was ok. Once the food was delivered we didn't see our server again until the end.

Food was very good. It was a little pricey but food quality and good wine. Small restaurant which we enjoyed. Wait staff excellent. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu

Dinner with some colleagues, a party of four. Our server didn't rush us, and the food was all very good (especially the soup of the day, cream of asparagus). It's a lovely space, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Sarah is a wonderful bartender! She is highly talented and by far the best bartender I’ve ever had. She is so creative with her drinks and is a great conversationalist.

Was hungry after early morning tennis yesterday so we tried a new place for brunch. Cute little french place in Media called La Belle Epoque Wine Bistro.French country decor. Small tables (however they gave the two of us a four person table so it was fine). Service was friendly and very attentive. Everything came out pretty quickly and was at all the right temperatures. They had a pineapple mimosa that l liked very much and things started off great with a potato and leek soup du jour! Evan enjoyed his french onion soup as well. After that...things got mediocre pretty fast. I tried the La Belle Steak and eggs which were fine except the steak was smothered in a barbecue-like sauce. I think just a drizzle of that sauce would have been more than enough. Evan's ham and cheese crepe was fine but seemed more like a pancake than a crepe (some level of refinement was missing). I had dessert which was chocolate mousse. Ummmm, anytime I am sure I have made something that tastes better than what I was served, it is likely a disappointment. As Ginny often says, this isn't my last meal so no big deal. But I have to admit I was expecting more!

very nice little restaurant on the corner in downtown media. We met on a Saturday night, so of course, parking was an issue, but I found what in space block away, so no big deal. We did not have a reservation, on a Saturday night, so we knew we were taking a chance. The hostess was, very helpful, she asked us if we would be finished by the time her next reservation for a table arrived at 7:30. We readily agreed, since it gave us plenty of time to select and enjoy a dinner, and then linger at the bar over dessert and another round of drinks.the food was tasty, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was great. I'll be back!

The meal was delicious as always. My only complaint is that there is one particularly bad table in the back middle of the room, and this isn't the first time that I was asked to sit there. I asked to be moved. I was told no once and then the second time yes. During the course of our meal, no one sat there. I just don't understand the desire to fill this table. And many nice window seats were left vacant.

We found the price for our meal rather high for the food we were served. I had the Chief Special, which was Lamb Chops (2) with two shrimp, mash potatoes and baby carrots, the cost was $50.00. I ordered the chops to be cooked medium. They arrived blood red. I could not eat them. The waiter offered to remove them from our bill. I declined. We were given a $10 desert as compensation...I should have taken the offer.

The soup du jour was delicious as was the Le Mer crêpe, even though it wasn't very warm. It also seemed that the server's attentiveness dropped off as our meal went on. Nonetheless, we had an overall good experience & will return.

We enjoyed our favorite foods last night starting with onion soup and escargot before moving on to trout and duck. The entrees and soup were spot on, while the escargot were perfectly tender but a tiny bit over seasoned with something green- chives - in the garlic butter sauce. I still enjoyed the escargot but didn't soak up quite as much butter as usual. Desert was a treat with chocolate mousse and macaroons perfectly presented. The wines were excellent. We will be back soon.

Reservations highly recommended for good seats. We sat in high tops by front window and away from drafts by front door. Split the mussels and begged for container to bring delicious red sauce home to use with seafood n pasta. I had the special - crispy skinned branzino while my husband had the hearty short ribs. Lavender martini didn't disappoint and our wine choice - a bottle of Bordeaux was perfect accompaniment to our meal. Our favorite waiter remains our favorite and the hostess was very attentive to clearing our dishes and seeing to any questions we had. Will definitely eat at La Belle again
