This place is absolutely filthy . The employees are rude and eat right in front of the customers while taking orders . I asked for a plain cream cheese bagel for my kid NOT toasted and they toasted it anyway . I ordered food for me and my 6 year old kid and my card declined so I apologized and the owner snatched the bag of food from my hand while announcing very loud oh you don’t have the money . COMPLETLY embarrassing me infront of other customers and my child. I just needed a minute to transfer money between accounts. I’ll never eat here again. Also 25$ for 2 breakfast sandwiches is absolutely RIDICULOUS. They are so small too.

I have been coming here and Glenolden location for years. I did stop coming to Media for a couple years ago because of, I think he was the manager. He was rude and sweaty. I then started coming back because it seemed like it was under different management. I like Manhattan bagels, but they are getting smaller and smaller. They are now the size of a Dunkin’ donut! I came across a place called Custom Bagels several blocks away in Media. I was hoping for a larger bagel, but was disappointed there as well. I do like the flavor of their bagels too though. I was up in North Jersey working and stopped at a bagel shop and you’ll see my photos. The comparison is outrageous and unacceptable. The cost is about the same. I think we are paying a little bit more actually. Why can’t the shops around us show some decency and give us a bagel that’s acceptable in size?? Oh, and by the way, the reason I went searching for another bagel shop was because when I came to Manhattan during the second week of November ‘24, I took home nine bagels and half of them were clearly from the day before!! I’m done with Manhattan. At least at the Media location.

Sandwich was ok. Brisket wasn’t bad but nothing special. My small cup of coffee was good.

Was passing through after Wrestlemania and asked for a poppy bagel with butter. Saw that the man went to toast it and asked him not too. He started mumbling that “I didn’t want to say something before he did it.” ……How was I suppose to know what you were doing! I didn’t ask for it to be toasted so I wasn’t looking at him to make sure if he was or wasn’t toasting it!If you’re gonna make comments please make them once we leave the place.

Great folks I’m glad the owner has more helping hands to assist serving customers. Great food, always enjoys my favorite raisin bagels toasted with butter & Honey? Almond cream cheese. You can purchase a container of the cream cheese as well??

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is all on one level. The parking lot is on a hill.

I like the bagel sandwiches. Made to order remarkably quickly. Mostly reliable, with the occasional surprise.

Parking: When the Manhattan Bagel lot is full, there is plenty of space next door.

Have been coming here forever. The owner of the shop was incredibly rude from start to finish, and told us that there was no way he could cook our bacon a little longer (the bagels had not been built yet). Proceeded to ask if I could enter my phone number since I have a rewards account set up, and was told to read the screen because it tells me how to do it right there.

Have stopped in on Sunday’s for years. Today I forgot my wallet and didn’t realize until the order was ready, I tried to pay by phone but it’s new and pay app not set up, I offered to call and pay by phone but the owner said they couldn’t. I understood and he asked if I would come back but it’s not very close and told him no I couldn’t. He came out to my car and told me they would not take my food order anymore and I asked “what” in surprise and he told me that he couldn’t waste the food like that or take cards over the phone. My kids were disappointed but we all got a laugh when I told them that my tips to this guy over the years would’ve paid ten times for the four bagels that I ordered We talked about how a business needs to run and about some other ways to handle it but for today we’re having Wawa.Update: no response from the email reply mentioned below.

I don't want to give 1 star, due to the fact that I've been here and been satisfied before, but this past time I was there, I was thoroughly disappointed. I was charged an exorbitant amount for a lox and egg bagel ($16 to be exact). Not only did I find this to be highway robbery, but the sandwich itself was skimpy. As was my bagel with cream cheese. Barely any cream cheese at all. My total bill came to close to $25. This situation is unfortunate because its a convenient location to stop on my way to work, but I won't be going there any longer. There's another bagel shop in town that charges me $11 for the same thing, and it's light years better. Sorry, ill spend my money somewhere else.
