I run a summer camp in the area, and every week during the summer we order three dozen bagels for our staff so they have something to eat in the morning if they don’t have time or access to breakfast. Manhattan Bagel knows this—we’ve been doing it for many summers—yet every week they give us a hard time about the order. When they reluctantly sell to us, they give us only the worst bagels, clearly the ones that do not sell. The manager is consistently rude, and it’s clear they don’t value loyal, repeat customers. Other Manhattan bagels have been happy to accommodate this request. We will not be giving them any more business.

Bagel sandwiches are good but FFS $10 for a bagel sandwich and a cup of coffee. No thanks. This is why I cook at home more and more. Cannot stand the greed and shrinkflation.

I have a very bad experience at this location the worker refused from putting my eggs and bacon on the side shouting throwing my food when I asked for the manager he told me he’s the owner I ask for his name and he said his name is don petal and he do what he wants to because he’s the boss

I am extremely disappointed with Jodi's behavior in the workplace. He had a dismissive and disrespectful towards me and my family and he was using a rude tone. After he took our order he was trying to vape in the restaurant without us seeing. This made me and my family extremely uncomfortable and we were all disgusted with how this kid was acting. He also messed up our order and did not give us everything we asked for. He was acting like it was our fault and did not take responsibility. Please get this teenager fired or else I am never coming back here again!

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to one of the workers, Jodi. While ordering, I was shocked to notice him smoking inside the establishment. It's incredibly unprofessional and not what you expect in a place where food is being served. The smoke was unpleasant and definitely affected the atmosphere. I hope the management addresses this behavior as it completely ruined an otherwise decent experience. It's disappointing to see such disregard for customer comfort and health.

This place is absolutely filthy . The employees are rude and eat right in front of the customers while taking orders . I asked for a plain cream cheese bagel for my kid NOT toasted and they toasted it anyway . I ordered food for me and my 6 year old kid and my card declined so I apologized and the owner snatched the bag of food from my hand while announcing very loud oh you don’t have the money . COMPLETLY embarrassing me infront of other customers and my child. I just needed a minute to transfer money between accounts. I’ll never eat here again. Also 25$ for 2 breakfast sandwiches is absolutely RIDICULOUS. They are so small too.

I have been coming here and Glenolden location for years. I did stop coming to Media for a couple years ago because of, I think he was the manager. He was rude and sweaty. I then started coming back because it seemed like it was under different management. I like Manhattan bagels, but they are getting smaller and smaller. They are now the size of a Dunkin’ donut! I came across a place called Custom Bagels several blocks away in Media. I was hoping for a larger bagel, but was disappointed there as well. I do like the flavor of their bagels too though. I was up in North Jersey working and stopped at a bagel shop and you’ll see my photos. The comparison is outrageous and unacceptable. The cost is about the same. I think we are paying a little bit more actually. Why can’t the shops around us show some decency and give us a bagel that’s acceptable in size?? Oh, and by the way, the reason I went searching for another bagel shop was because when I came to Manhattan during the second week of November ‘24, I took home nine bagels and half of them were clearly from the day before!! I’m done with Manhattan. At least at the Media location.
