Not the best cooking, but for the price it was well worth it! Brunch buffet is $11/person and covers a span of traditional indian dishes like tikka masala and daal, unlimited naan, mango lassi and dessert.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian food, you won’t find it here. Notice how Americans rated the restaurant highly, but Indians did not. It’s very Americanized, and the dishes are dumbed down a lot. I decided to give this place another chance because the first time I went, they just opened. Unfortunately, this time wasn’t any better. I went to the lunch buffet again, and this time it was $2 more than it was before. The food still wasn’t up to par. The buffet food was cold, and I felt like there were less options than before. They didn’t even have samosas or chicken tikka masala which are found at pretty much every Indian buffet around. The sauces were pretty oily, and not very spicy. Service wasn’t great either. They never checked on me, or asked if I wanted a drink. He sat me at my table, and then walked away. I had to get up and find the waiter to ask for my check. He never came back for my card, so I had to chase him down again. Maybe if you going during dinner, and your dishes are made to order, it’s better, but I think I’m just going to stick with Shere-E-Punjab from now on. The lunch buffet is cheaper, and it has never disappointed me.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Find myself wanting more even though I’m leaving stuffed. Good sized portions and amazing tasting food. Best Indian you can find on State Street by far! Salmon and the lamb are the best.
I love this place! They prepare excellent dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I love very much tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently of high class, the service towards the customers is very good too. I often go to this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all my friends.
Absolutely lovely food. Well prepared, and incredibly flavorful.I will return, and advise anyone who loved good food in a relaxed atmosphere to turn up as well.
Had a nice early dinner here. Vegetable Samosas were great and some of the best Tikka masala curry I've had.
My new favorite place to eat! I have been waiting for a place to make dosas! Absolutely everything was delicious and the staff so kind.
We had lunch today and here are my comments below, I would give them a rating of 3, good.Positive :Some starters like onion pakoda was tasty, I liked it.Chicken in chicken curry, chicken tikka, and chilly chicken was fresh and tasty.Mutton looks fresh.Deserts were good.In the lunch buffet they didn’t have chai(tea) but on request, they made good tea for us, I really appreciate it.Music is pleasant.Negative :mint soup is not tasty, no one in our group had it.Mutton curry is not enough cooked to be eaten, the pieces are hard and tough to chew.Chicken tandoor and button chicken was not good, not tasty and dont seems to be made from fresh chicken, might be frozen chicken.Chickpeas chat was tasty but slightly smelled bad might be because of over soaking the chickpeas in water.
Very friendly service. The buffet is nicely put together great variety including South Indian dishes and dosas. My favorite is the butter chicken and DOSA. Can’t wait to return! Now this is my go to place.
Best Indian Food in Media. The food is always good when we dine in or take out. The staff is always super friendly. Great lunch buffet!BYOB!!

Had their lunch buffet; Nice waitstaff but completely empty restaurant (despite the time other places in the area all had a few patrons at that hour) with lukewarm buffet food that had no flavor. Perhaps they are trying to avoid spicy hot flavors but everything (I tried to sample a taste of each of their currys and their chicken tikki marsala) tasted flavorless instead of the typical riched Indian food layers of taste (even compared to my usual requests for non-spicy options elsewhere). I hope they can improve, the location is great & the buffet's variety of options was promising.
Very Poor (Buffet) during lunch. The great interiors are an equal disappointment to the quality of Indian food. Things were in little-no quantity. Everything tasted very dull, overly salty, and specially if you have a vegetarian in your family, don't go here. I was completely dissatisfied with how non-Indian the food tasted. They should change chef/cook.
The food was sublime and obviously made with great care, and there are some unique items. The wait staff was very kind and humble (it seems they are still getting used to their success, so be patient with them). The atmosphere was relaxing and the music was pleasant. We will go back repeatedly to Mint for sure!
The place is clean and cozy. Shef Lucky is super awesome. He served us free dessert each time we visited out of love for folks from his home country. This is the only place I could taste authentic Indian spices in curries. I asked chef to cook navrattan korma and chicken with no cream and the curry tasted yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The samosas were so flavorful and not overly fried, and the korma and tikka masala was delish too. Friendly service and great location in the heart of downtown Media. We’ll be back.
