I'd had a couple of bad experiences at this place early, and had previously posted a bad review, but they've been very good about course correcting. This is a decent place to come and unwind. I just happened to hit a bad stretch here, but since then, I've actually made some new friends. The drink and food prices are reasonable, quality of food is good, tenders are usually great.
The younger male waiter scolded us for making a mess because there was condensation from the cups and a single dirty napkin on the table. That was wild otherwise love this place and the female waiter and older male waiter are amazing.
We arrived early for a party nearby after 3 hours on the road. My wife always finds us great places. Old State Tavern was half a mile from our final destination.
We love local bars, and this one had lots of charm, good prices, and we ended up making a new friend.
Parking: We lucked out mid-afternoon getting the last spot available, just outside the door.
