Great little spot in Media. Got the burger and it was amazing. My whole family said their dishes were amazing. Service was awesome and very low key but stylish decor. Great time!

Celebrated my 75th birthday at Rye! The food was amazing, the service was excellent! Everyone was impressed! Thank you! 👍🌹
Review for dinner during Dining under the stars - The experience was pleasant. The service was decent. As for the food, the Brussels sprouts were average, lacking any wow factor. Both the Rigatoni and Radiatori dishes were delicious, though slightly on the saltier side. This seems to be a recurring theme here—during a visit a couple of years ago, I remember having to send back a few pasta dishes due to excessive saltiness. While the flavors are otherwise great, it would be even better with more balanced seasoning.

Rye hosted our rehearsal dinner, and it was an incredible experience! Ryan worked with us to create a custom menu, allowing us to mix and match items from both the regular menu and our own selections. The amount of food served was impressive and by far beat our expectations! Every dish was fantastic, from the milk buns to the pastas, steak, and the amazing bread pudding. We cannot recommend Rye enough. From a night out or for hosting any event!

We didn’t have a great brunch experience here. The iced tea had over-steeped and tasted off. The kitchen sent a BLT made with very burnt tosst. The omelets were diner-level okay, but overshadowed by the basic mistakes. The service staff were kind enough, but they seemed stretched thin.

I went to Rye BYOB with two friends for our first Dining Under the Stars of the 2024 season. This was our first visit to Rye BYOB. The service was great and appreciate that we didn't feel rushed. The food was spaced out perfectly. We decided to order several appetizers along with a few pasta dishes to share. The milk buns and brussel sprouts were recommended by our waitress and both were really good. The milk buns had a nice crusty top plus very tasty. We also started with the lettuce wedge which was also delish. For our main course we had the radiatori which we were very pleasantly surprised that while it was a cream sauce it was still very light feeling. The rigatoni and lumache were both very good as well. We added chicken to the lumache dish to add some protein, the grilled chicken was very tender. We were informed that all of the pasta were made fresh at the restaurant. We typically don't order dessert too often but they had a coffee cake with caramel ice cream and a sticky bun with toffee ice cream. These were delicious and not something you typically see on a dessert menu so we had to try them. We would definitely recommend a visit. All of the staff members were very pleasant and welcoming.
Parking: Sometimes parking can be a challenge in Media in general depending on the time of year, time of day, and what events are taking place. However, there are plenty of options between garages, street parking, and flat lots around. Just have to allow yourself a bit extra time to drive a round a little bit to find a spot sometimes.

I called in to make a simple reservation for two for Night Under The Stars. The guy I spoke to was very short with me and trying to rush me off the phone. Also, I understand being booked up, but I making this a week in advance and they had no accommodation for the times available. One star for service so far. The second is only because I heard they have good food and I haven’t been there yet. Not a good first impression.
I really wanted to enjoy this place, but there was really not much. While the two people working there (hostess and waitress?) seemed nice enough, the service was really awful. Slow and rather inattentive; and the place was pretty empty. I had to go ask for drinking glasses and had to ask for my wine to be opened. Bacon was WAY overcooked, limited menu options and pretty average food. I would not recommend nor return to this place.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Fun to share dishes and order as we go. Their Mocktails/Cocktail Starters are great.

I truly hate to leave a bad review mostly because I understand how hard is to run a restaurant. However this is my 3rd time giving Rye a try, first 2-times the food was mediocre but yesterday was terrible. Sauce on the pasta wasn’t fresh, very salty and just not good. The scallops were barely seared on 1-side, (sort of boiled, floating on the plate), the sauce was watery and very poorly executed. Very disappointing - not worth the trip. The space is so cute I hope it vacates for some other talented person to bring good food to Media.

Reservations for 1:30pm on a Sunday so it was quieting down; comfortable and cozy and clean! Had the Shakshuka and the marinara sauce was delicious. Also had Gnocchi Sardi and Orecchiette ~ so between the 3 dishes, wasn't sure which was going to be the "last bite" of flavor. Decided on the toast and Shakshuka. Brussel sprouts a nice portion to share. The TOAST was so simple yet so crunchy and buttery, had to order more and it was only $4 for a 2nd order. Brought a Rose champagne for the brunch and a red for the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Cinnamon Bun to top off the meal. French Press Coffee to boot. Try RYE before you die!
