We were so lucky to have our wedding dinner at Sligo. The food was amazing, staff was so helpful, and we truly enjoyed renting the upstairs room for our event. Our family had a great time, and we enjoyed the space and food to celebrate our wedding. Thank you!

The menu on line was completely different once we arrived. The waitress was horrible, she never came back to see if we needed anything. We had to jeep flagging her down for help. To ask for a spoon and sugar for tea. My drink had rum, I asked for double vodka instead, she brought the drink regular. When my food came, everything was cold, as if it had been sitting by a window, when she finally walked by from serving another table, I had to tell her that my food was cold, she took it, they must have microwaved it because she brought it back in less than 2 minutes, the brussel sprouts, chicken fingers and fries were room temperature as well. I'm sure hoping that we didnt receive that service because we were a mixed group. My son in law is from Ireland to the US in the 90s and we usually frequent Irish pubs/restaurants in Philadelphia and the surrounding ares for him to get a small piece of home. We thought we'd experience it here...but I think it's a one and done!

I had my husband's 50th Surprise party at Sligo and it was a wonderful experience. Jen was so helpful all the months leading up to the party, answering all of my questions and making menu suggestions that would work well for my guests. All of our guests had a great time and I am still getting compliments on the party. Thank you Jen and Sligo for making the party fun and memorable!!

So we came in, got seated, waitress was very nice, ordered apps, waited almost an hour for them, one of us ordered a shot from the bar, brought it back to the table, he drank it and the (EMPTY) glass ended up with his 12 year old brother that was just playing and fiddling with the (EMPTY) glass when I noticed the bar tender, blonde girl staring at us from beside us at the beginning of the hallway and I looked back and she walked away, came back and took the glass without saying anything, then came back again and said that she wasn't comfortable serving us, just because the 12 year old was playing with the glass, I said to her that he didn't drink it, the guy that ordered it was the one who drank it and that instead of staring at us from a corner, come and ask, I would have whole heartedly and honestly told her that I didn't give alcohol to a 12 year old kid, and then after kicking us out, she had the balls to ask If we wanted our entrees bagged to go, we told her absolutely not, I paid for the apps we ate and left, unbelievably terrible service too pricey for okay food and the building was crappy and dirty on top of that. Please, no one go here and take your hard earned money somewhere that you'll get good service and good food.
We just celebrated Artisan Painting’s 10 year anniversary at Sligo’s and had an amazing time. We rented out the upstairs room and bar. Brianna took care of us and was amazing.

It's a nice atmosphere and their wings were nice. I went on a Wednesday hoping to get a deal that was advertised on their website. I asked for a medium well burger and it came out rare. When we got the bill, they charges us for the full price and refused to honor what was on their website stating " Sorry, that website hasn't been updated in years." I don't think I'd come back to this place.

Food has been great for a while now. Beer selection is excellent, and Sligo has a great atmosphere with friendly regulars. The entire staff is great, but MK, Pat, and Jeff are the best bartenders in Media. You'll never find a better spot for a pint of Guinness with friends or strangers.

Went with friends to enjoy a fun night out until a customer (bartender told us he lives there HIS NAME IS RICH / white male brown hair & beard) approached us to make racist, homophobic, Islamic and drug paraphernalia remarks. He proceeded to TAKE our alcohol THAT WE PAID FOR and run to the bathroom to drink them while being asked to STOP MULTIPLE TIMES all while he was bragging about selling drugs (hopefully not there but who knows) She (The bartender) IGNORED / made EXCUSES for his comments and behavior saying “he’s going through a hard time” and “this is not him he is going through a breakup”… if Sligo approves of this type of environment BE ADVISED!
