This is a new find on a trip to see the phillies. What a great place this is one of our best finds yet. The beer i great the service is 2nd to none and the Margarita pizza is just out of this world!!! We have not even scratched the surface till next time when we can try the incredible smelling bbq. You will not be disappointed visiting Sterling pig. A+++
We were a large party on a Sunday afternoon and our server John made the experience so so good!
John is incredibly professional & attentive & managed all the work, water, drinks, meals with separate checks with so much efficiency & GREAT service!
Helps that thr Brussels sprouts were delicious, the Brisket was perfect, the mashed potatoes were divine and I want to have the warm cornbread every single day for the rest of my life!
But none of it would have been as enjoyable with our crowd if it weren't for John!
I always prefer to order over the phone, but they never answer. Tonight I called to place an order and they answer the phone and place me on hold for 27 minutes. I called back repeatedly and of course they didn’t answer the phone. I go to the restaurant, the kid at the front is sitting on his personal phone. I said I’ve been calling you guys for almost an hour. Is the phone not working? He puts his personal phone down and picks up the cordless phone and said oh yeah our phone is working. I said so you’re just ignoring calls basically. He said can I take your order. Learn to hire quality help who won’t sit on their personal phone opposed to answering the business phone which is part of your money!
Food is great. I got nachos which are always super fresh tasting. Also 1/2 rack ribs which were 8/10 tender with a great smoke ring and flavor. A little pricy (everywhere is anymore) 100 including tip for my gf and I with no alcoholic beverages. Definitely worth a try.
The beer is outstanding. I don't pretend to be a beer snob, but I know the taste of good beer... and this is it. They have a great selection for beers made on the premises. They are unique and flavorful. They also have THE BEST wings. If you're a craft beer fan, you can't pass up the Sterling Pig!
The French onion soup was amazing i will totally recommend this when looking for a good appetizer
Great IPAs, great thin crust pizza cooked with a bit of char in the wood fired oven. 😋
The beers at the Pig are exceptional. And I’d like to give a shout out to Meg for exceptional service. Always friendly and attentive!!!
This is one of my favorite places to come to. The beer and food are great but I come here really because of Meg. She makes it great every time I come here. Bartenders really are the heart and soul of a bar and she’s just that! Come here and see her for yourself!
My husband and I just stopped in for a Christmas drink and a bite to eat. The bartender was extremely rude. He came up to our server and made a scene in the middle of the restaurant where we all could see. He was rude to her and said something along the lines of the bar is for beer. After sitting at the table for a good 20 minutes she came back and said the drinks are going to be awhile. Are you ok with waiting? There were only 2 other tables filled. She told us the bartender was overwhelmed because the bar was crowded. Unfortunately we didn't want to eat there any longer and left.

Omg, Pit Master Pizza, and the Brisket Cheesesteak were sooooooo good! And my Bloody Mary was spicy and delicious!! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu😊😊
There was a recent change in management and the overall quality of the food and experience has significantly declined. The meats are low quality/fatty and taste very bland as if they were cooked in a microwave (far from the “Texas style barbecue” they claim to offer). You now also have to ask for barbecue sauce as there are no longer bottles of it on the tables. I did eventually receive it though - served ice cold in a cup. The portions have also been massively downsized and this is the first time I left there still feeling hungry.
Aside from the food the overall experience has also declined. The staff was nowhere to be found, Multiple tables were not cleared or cleaned for over an hour (despite being a slow night), the chairs and floors were obviously not cleaned once the entire night, nor were the staff knowledgable on any of the products.
Long story short, don’t waste your time or money - this is no longer the sterling pig you once knew.
For Delco standards the BBQ here is ridiculously good especially the brisket

Place was clearly understaffed. Not sure if she was one of the owners/managers, but when she had time to help, she was great. She was the only positive of the experience. Other servers were no where to be found. We had our 11 month year old so waiting for long service is not best situation. Probably due to understaffing and indoor/outdoor seating. Wings and fried pickles were good. Pizza was too doughy. Brisket was dry

Sandwiches lacked flavor, had to ask for bbq sauce for the seemingly unseasoned bbq meats. Didn’t get silverware with meal, takeout box did not close despite ~5 minutes and two people trying.
Great service, cheap drinks, good atmosphere.
