Tonight was our first time dining at Two Fourteen we went for happy hour and boy were we happy. Our waiter Jack was exceptional and so was the Happy Hour menu. We had the small cheese plate, mussels,wings and the beet salad and the sliders.It was hard to pick a favorite because everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back for dinner. This restaurant is a new favorite! Truly a hidden gem on State Street
Overall the restaurant has a great aesthetic. We really enjoyed the drinks we got (the TwoFourtini and Spring Forward Spritz) and all the dishes (Korean Pork Belly, 214 Burger, and Mushroom Risotto) we got as well.
The restaurant was out of a lot of beers. The portions seemed small, like even the small egg seemed about the same size as the burger patty. The fries were very good. We weren’t rushed for brunch. I would try other places before going back here for brunch.
