Never been here before ended up in the area with a Rideshare Customer. I figured I would give it a try. I thought the pricing was a bit high, I got a BLT Club and it was $12.22. The ladies at the counter did not even inform me that when you order you have to walk up to the register and order so I sat at my table for like 5min waiting and eventually I said I was ready to order and the girl told me ok well you come to the counter to order so no Waitress or Waiter you wait on yourself.
Quaint little place out in a country setting but everything is self serve there is no wait staff, no one checked on me or asked me how everything tastes. The older lady told me on my way out, I hope you enjoyed your food

Wayside was a typical lunch grab and go that's relatively close to where I live with good eats & great price. I ordered lunch today for my husband & my self. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with the gravy on the side. Didn't receive my gravy , there goes my husbands lunch.
I ordered a turkey bacon BLT wrap for myself. I emphasized , twice, to the young lady taking my order that I'd prefer turkey bacon. I've order turkey bacon BLT from wayside in the past and they've never gotten it wrong so I ate the first half of my wrap. Midway through the first half I get piercing pain in my abdomen and it startles me. I open the wrap and see it's pork bacon 🤦🏾♀️ the young lady offered me money back and/or credit and I declined. It's not about the cash. It's imperative you follow dietary restrictions when taking orders. This was my last order at wayside. The food gets the job done but just check your food before you leave or eat. You don't wanna end up consuming food that you don't normally consume.

Hateful owners, very homophobic, multiple slurs used in front of me. They freeze soups and other foods for 4-5 months at a time then advertise it as fresh.

This place is SO great. You can tell they are a family owned spot that has been around for decades. They have so many different food & drink options I really enjoyed walking around the place and seeing the history and love that was poured into here. They have a coffee bar and on the side they list our all their staffs favorite meals the place offers (which i thought was a cute touch). They have a dessert fridge and another fridge full of to go meals that just need to be heated up. I went with the Wayside Chicken wrap and it was delicious. I will most definitely be back to try other staff favorites and to introduce my family to this location!!

Do you not have jerk spice? It is on the menu for a fee, but it is never included when requested. No crushed red pepper either what is the point of all of these customizable options if you don't honor them

Ordered a birthday cake for this past Saturday (chocolate chip cake, chocolate buttercream filling, vanilla buttercream outside) and it was both beautiful and delicious. Everyone raved about it. Definitely plan to order all birthday/special occasions cakes from Wayside moving forward. Thank you!

I took a chance on this place as the reviews brought me in. sometimes that could be a good or bad thing to pay attention to reviews. That being said, I will give my unbiased opinion of my food purchase . Ordered the small cheesesteak, I took it out the bag and It was very light picking it up and then noticed not enough meat or should I say barely any meat on it at all especially paying $12-13 for it . The taste was OK. also ordered the chicken garden salad. Some of the greens were wilted. Onions and cucumbers were diced very small, that you could barely enjoy it, chicken was dry, overcooked and lacked flavor.that being said, I ordered a raspberry vinaigrette dressing that was very thick in it’s consistency that pouring it over your salad you would get a big chunk of dressing while eating it. Did not enjoy it . Ordered small cheese fry as well that barely had any fries in it at all and too thick of cheese that it couldn’t be poured on the fries .Lastly , ordered the Italian hoagie Which was OK as well and probably may have been the better option to choose over everything else. Lastly, you could see the kitchen, may look outdated or needed more cleanliness to it

I had a small catering order and it was spot on for what I needed. The food was excellent and the service was great. The trays were the perfect size for what I needed and everyone enjoyed the food.
My wife and I stopped in for a cheesesteak and a grilled chicken sandwich and it was very good.
