Mendenhall Inn Restaurant

Seated early. Passed a large, noisy party of about 15 people that made it difficult to talk to each other at our table throughout the entire meal. Server was good. Food very good and prepared well.

Mussels were like the joke. Bland and such small portions. Lobster bisque was very good. Seafood scampi was under seasoned and not garlicky enough. Lamb chops were cooked properly but lacked taste.

Prime Rib is always a great choice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A relaxing place to go for a great meal. Lots of choices. Some evenings they have live music.

Ambience was beautiful. Service was impeccable. Food and drinks were just OK. Ordered a Mojito and there was no fresh mint which I thought was odd. I asked and the waiter brought me a few leaves. Stuffed shrimp were a bit bland. Tableside bananas Foster was nice entertainment!

As in previous occasions, the food, the service, and the ambiance were well above average.

Wonderful dining experience with delicious dinner entrees at a reasonable price. Also, every waiter we've had has been excellent!

THE FOOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING - QUALITY AND PRESENTATION. STAFF ARE WELL TRAINED AND EXPERIENCED. WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO OUR DINNERS AT MENDENHALL.

The food was outstanding, the service was professional and the restaurant was impeccably decorated.

Wonderful brunch spread! Love it here, the blessings of professional servers and the great rapport we have with Emily makes this a must. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch.

We were very disappointed in the food this time. We went on a Wednesday. I learned that that is the only day they do not have prime rib, which is my favorite. 2 of us ordered steak (rib eye and filet). In both cases it was overcooked and somewhat tough. The carrots were the vegetable of the day. There were very few of them cut into small pieces and they were burnt (!) As always, our waiter, Andy, was wonderful. A true professional. The atmosphere is always extraordinary, quiet and relaxing.

From arrival to departure, my Mendenhall Inn Restaurant experience exceeded my expectations!!

Clean, but front desk ignorant of of local events and unhelpful to visitors. They have satellite tv which goes down with even light rain. This is apparently quite acceptable to this establishment. Our concert at the garden was canceled so we are stuck at the hotel and now they say the tv is not expected to be working for the evening. Never experienced this before at even low end hotels. Will stay somewhere else next time we come to town.

Very nice restaurant. Well appointed. Bit of a throwback to the 1970's, table side desserts, coffees. I was a little disappointed that there was no Baked Alaska... Actually, I mean, it's done pretty well. Take your Mother in Law, she will be impressed.

I made a reservation at Mendenhall, knowing that we could rely on a wonderful meal in a fantastic setting. We were not disappointed. The quality never varies. The service is always excellent. The ambience is perfect for a lovely quiet meal.
