Seated early. Passed a large, noisy party of about 15 people that made it difficult to talk to each other at our table throughout the entire meal. Server was good. Food very good and prepared well.
Ambience was beautiful. Service was impeccable. Food and drinks were just OK. Ordered a Mojito and there was no fresh mint which I thought was odd. I asked and the waiter brought me a few leaves. Stuffed shrimp were a bit bland. Tableside bananas Foster was nice entertainment!
We were very disappointed in the food this time. We went on a Wednesday. I learned that that is the only day they do not have prime rib, which is my favorite. 2 of us ordered steak (rib eye and filet). In both cases it was overcooked and somewhat tough. The carrots were the vegetable of the day. There were very few of them cut into small pieces and they were burnt (!) As always, our waiter, Andy, was wonderful. A true professional. The atmosphere is always extraordinary, quiet...
