I think this one of the best places I have eaten at. The food is so good and you get a lot of it.

Talbot's is one of our absolute favorite places! We travel an hour and 40 minutes! That's how amazing it is! Excellent ride from Ohio on the motorcycle too! Pics from today's visit. Brie appetizer, "Do Something Outrageous" (sliced brisket over fried green tomatoes and sweet potato mousse) and "Cod Imperial". OH SO GOOD!

Seemed like a good place to eat, staff was nice, sat at the bar and got a couple of drinks but they were too busy to serve us otherwise. Their menu has a lot of gourmet food and is very good from what I understand. I guess don't go during their busy times.

My wife and I enjoyed some alone time here, but more than likely, we won't be returning. The Generation X vibe that can be felt the moment you walk in the door and see your first WuTang throwback down the hall from a modern effigy of Einstein was a welcome surprise. Unfortunately, however, the flavor pallette was not. From pickled onions to ramen noodles, the flavor derivatives and food additives would take some getting used to. Nonetheless, we were up for the challenge. My wife and I are very well versed in the food and hospitality industry, so we weren't caught off guard. Regrettably, we weren't a fan of any of their staple dishes. Even something as simple as salmon came with a hitch. It was overcooked, dry, and moderately burnt. The service here is exceptional, and we absolutely love the atmosphere. Sadly, the reason for our visit fell short. I have a feeling that from here on out, we'll be sticking to ordering their wings. They're wing sauces, and rubs are delightful.

Was driving through Western PA and decided to stop here on a whim. We were not prepared for how incredible the food is!. We had a starter of fried green tomatoes over brisket with pumpkin puree that was delicious. The main course was half a chicken with perogies and garlic ramps that was positively delicious. If you're ever in the area, Talbot's is a must-stop.

First time here, but had heard good things. We had a group of nine and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had brisket, pulled pork, Andouille sausage, etc., over spaetzle with corn bread. My wife had chicken with crab. Both were wonderful. The atmosphere is pub like, with eclectic art and posters on the wall and ceilings. We didn't use them, but there are two disc golf baskets outside and seating for use before/ after your meal. Very nice experience. I would definitely recommend!Parking: Ample parking in their parking lot.

It's hard to imagine that there is anyone in Mercer County who hasn't been here by now, but if you haven't... what are you waiting for?!?! Authentic, original, legit, and fun. The owner is a true maverick who dares to go off the beaten path AND isn't afraid to put HIS name on it. Talbot's excitement and passion is palpable, turning a simple meal into a memorable experience. I could keep raving about it but I better go make a reservation! CHEERS!

What a great experience! My girlfriends and I decided to take trip up. Our server, Ryan was sooooo fun to work with. He made us laugh the whole time. What a jokester! His knowledge of the menu was awesome. He made perfect suggestions to compliment our meals that weren’t even on the menu as an option (sauces etc). The food was to die for! The new signature cocktails were delightful! Only thing I could ask to change is to move this venue closer to where we live so we could frequent ALL the time! If you haven’t been here, it’s amazing and you’re missing out on a fabulous dining experience. My favorite Restraunt in Western PA hands down!
