Great local restaurant! We have been there 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Tried different things each time and have been happy with everything. Make sure to have Taylor mix you a drink. Highly recommend!

We decided to try it out here tonight and we were super pleased. Our service was great, our food surpassed our expectations, and Taylor made us the best martinis ever! We ate outside and it's such a great space. We will definitely be back! It's definitely our new spot!

The food and service were outstanding! I had the ribeye, which could literally be cut with a butter knife! It was amazing. My husband had the haddock stuffed with crab, which was equally delicious. Our server was top-notch. We will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, crab cakes were fresh and the chicken Marsala had one of the best Marsala sauces I have had in a long time. Everything was prepped / cooked to order and well worth the wait.

The food was absolutely Amazing!!! I never would have thought the food would be anywhere near as good as it is! The Crab stuffed Haddock and my son had the Chicken Marsala. The Marsala was some of the best I have ever tasted!!

I stopped in the restaurant while visiting the area. If you are staying at the James Buchanan Hotel or visiting the area for JLG training, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't visit this restaurant.
The restaurant is in a beautiful historic building, accessable from the James Buchanan Hotel or from the street. John was extremely friendly, and possibly more importantly is an amazing chef.
Mercersburg is only 15 minutes from JLG, so if you find yourself nearby for training as I have, stop in for a wonderful meal with a calm atmosphere. It will be a must-stop for me the next time I visit.

For was good but nothing that warranted the price point. Service was terrible, asked 2 separate servers for waters and never got them. Food took awhile to come and we witnessed many other tables sit for over half an hour for drinks.

This was our first time eating there. The ambience was wonderful. There were no other patrons there at the time. It took a bit to be greeted. However, once we were, it was a great experience. Taylor L was very friendly and took very good care of us. They had a Valentine's Day special which was more than what we wanted to eat but she said if there was something on that menu we were interested in, we could do a la carte. I got the braised lamb shank meal which was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband got the blackened steak melt with fries which was also very tasty. Then we shared the strawberry shortcake which also didn't disappoint. The shortcake was homemade with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was a great way to end our experience. We will go back again!
