Almost 5 stars! Food was great, the pour on my LIT was generous, and wait staff was friendly enough. But the price! $70 for two people with drinks is tough for the atmosphere they're going for. Fries were fair style and cheesesteak was creamy however.
Wings and union rings EXCELLENT
Recommend the crab cakes & pastas!
Stopped in for dinner with my husband and our 9 year old. So HAPPY we did. Very friendly and accommodating. Burgers were hand made and delicious...best we've had in a long time. There's a bar in the front with a few high tops and a dining room in the rear with arcade games, TVs and they even had a Nintendo Wii for us to play. If we lived locally ..my husband said he'd be there everyday lol. Nothing fancy..just good folks ..good food..and a good time!

It was a random stop, but the owners are great, the food was decent, and there was stuff for the kids to do. A very neat history as well.

Great local atmosphere with great food and service. Thumbs up to the chef! Hot wings were awesome from the folks down in Georgia.

Tasty food and warm, hospitable service. Even though we are newcomers to Middletown, we felt right at home.

Very rarely do you walk in to a place and feel comfortable, and yet rest in curiosity at the layers. It seems like any other small bar and grill that dots towns here in the east. A long clean bar and dim lights. 30 years or so ago there would have been ash trays on the bar I assume- but today all you smell is the good food from the back. The bartender was short, and sweet. Both in stature and conversation. We had a friendly conversation and I ordered a pizza to come get later. It was delicious. Stop by and see how many layers of this small little slice of comfort you can pull back.
