This hotel was atrocious. It was dirty, old, clearly not kept in check by management, they have a 10 point cleaning system that did not follow. The entire 5th floor of the building smelled like animal urine and rotten garbage. They don’t even pick up your trash let alone take it out, they had no towels. Breakfast was granola bars. Our lights didn’t work in our room. The toilet ran ALL night and day. The AC was at 66 and barely cooled the room. The comforters were the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen. No coffee cups or ice bucket in the room. Teammate got stuck in a broken elevator. Eye lashes in pull out sofa. Just gross. The attached pics are the comforter from my bed.

I found drugs and paraphernalia in the room within the first few minutes upon arrival! Imagine our shock when we think we are staying a decent family friendly hotel only for my child to find this. Unacceptable. It’s clear the room was not thoroughly cleaned between stays. Human hair on mattress. Dirty sheets on pull out sofa. Horrible smell in the hallway. Do not recommend at all!

AVOID THIS LOCATION - DO NOT BOOK Fire alarm goes off daily. Always wakes my family and my kids up in the middle of the night. It’s the alarm who cried wolf. Never know if it’s a real fire or not. Breakfast here is a granola bar and that alone is limited stalk. Dogs throughout the hotel without leashes and the owners do not pick up after them. The key cards never work and you always have to go down to the front desk to get them rekeyed. The elevator is always broken. So you have to use the stairs. If your handicap then you’re not going anywhere for a few hours. Ontop of having to use the stairs, they are not ventilated. So it’s extremely hot in there. Pipes are old squeak when you get a shower. The AC in the room sounds like someone is mowing the lawn, very loud. The Wi-Fi is always out. So good luck trying to work remotely. The pool is hit or miss if it’s open, this is due to the door lock, at least that’s the reason we receive. Housekeeping never comes. Depending on who you talk to the come every couple days, every week, or every two weeks. Out of the two months we’ve been there housekeeping came once and that after multiple requests. The whole building smells like cigarette smoke. Bathing Towels are never clean and when they are they smell like no detergent was used. Pool towels are of shortage as well. It seems like the hotel is short staffed but yet there’s always employees sitting at the bar(not open) watching on the flatscreen tv. Walked past rooms where housekeeping is cleaning because they left and their just lounging on the couch. Poorly ran. They can’t make a buck from labor so they get it from the customers. Also they let kids roam the halls unsupervised. We were woken up multiple times to them banging on every door up and down the hallway. The building is under “remodel”. So no full kitchen or laundry area. Stay at another location, it’s not worth the pool.

Traveler Beware!! We made our reservation for the Hyatt Place back in August for a 5-night stay in October. We wanted a hotel that was pet friendly and offered a good hot breakfast each morning. Two weeks before our trip, we received an email letting us know that the hotel was under a new name. We called the hotel just to make sure that our reservation would be honored and that there were no changes. We found out that the new name was Extended Stay and we were assured that everything would be the same. Upon arrival from our long drive from NH, my wife was greeted by a less than enthusiastic person at the front desk and the nightmare began. She was told that the pet fee was no longer $75.00 for the 5 nights, but it was now $150.00 and there was nothing he could do about it. When she came out to the car to let me know, I went in and informed the young man that this was unacceptable and if he didn’t honor the original quoted price, we were moving on. He then said that he would honor the price. The next morning, my wife went down to get coffee and check out the breakfast. Not only was there no regular creamer for the coffee (just 2 containers of flavored creamer) there was no hot breakfast. The so-called healthy breakfast listed on the website consists of; little containers of oatmeal, granola bars, 5 lb. muffins, and coffee. No fruit, no juices, no milk, nothing. Not even a toaster to make a piece of toast. Pitiful! It’s all setup to be a grab and go. When she asked about it, she was informed that they don’t do the hot breakfast anymore because they would be renovating in a few months and all the rooms will have full kitchens so people will have to make their own breakfast. As the saga continued, we were then informed that they didn’t have housekeeping to make-up your room each day. You need to stay at least 6 nights before that kicks in. So needless to say, we had to ask for clean towels and various toiletries along the way. On the fourth night of our stay, we were locked out of our room. The key card reader didn’t work. After some interaction with the young man at the front desk (same person that checked us in) he came up and had to change the battery on the unit. We finally checked out and made our way back to NH vowing never to stay at an Extended Stay again. Oh, and by the way, the room constantly smelled like marijuana (coming through the bathroom vent) and there was no ice bucket in the room, we had to ask for that. To top it all off, there were no apologies by the staff for any of this. If you are planning an extended stay in this hotel don’t, stay somewhere else!!

After reserving on 08/27/22, I was notified in mid September that effective 09/30 the Hyatt Cranberry would be an Extended Stay America but my reservation would remain if that was what I wanted. I agreed. Unfortunately, what was promised by Hyatt was not what I received from ESA. The breakfast consisted of highly processed packaged grab and go items, very limited. My room had visible mold and fungus on the window and a/c unit and the carpets were very worn and stained. The building was not secured, the rear doors remained unlocked 24/7 despite the card reader in place. With the change of ownership, there was no housekeeping to empty garbage or replace towels/linens during my 4 night stay. I would not recommend this facility with so many others in the area to choose from.

We stayed here 09/19- 10/1 well less than a week before the wedding I am informed that it will no longer be the hyatt and the name will change the morning of my wedding. Let alone not informing all guests within our block leaving them to find out once checked in. I had chosen the hyatt due to the fact they had a bar and restaurant and offered continental breakfast. When I was informed he said we could transfer else where but was too late to change hotels for everyone in my block which was over 25 rooms. It was Monday before he got back to me regarding this all, only 3 days prior to our stay. Sent an email called 4-5 times before he returned my call saying I could go elsewhere with waving the cancellation fee to our block. Ok so I moved past it, boy was I wrongly informed? The pool wasn't open at all the hotel was run down and due to the system change by the time we came back from the wedding half the guests were locked out of their room. Morning after we were all excited to go down and enjoy breakfast together. complementary Continental breakfast my butt! They had oatmeal and granola bars a bagged honey bun. They didn't even have cereal or milk. As I was told the food would be different not we won't gave two craps what you have to eat. What a nightmare of a hotel I can't even say one good thing about it!

no housekeeping - we were given sheets and a flimsy blanket to make up the sofa bed ourselves. Hotel allows groups to party in hallways all night long don't stay here if you expect to get a night's sleep. Management indifferent to noise complaints even tho they have quiet hours posted in elevators. That should have been a warning to us.

This hotel has bed bugs! Fortunately we caught it in time but the bites were painful. Stay away. The service was so so. Breakfast was very good but the next day we were itching quite a bit then realized why. Never experienced this before.

A few times a year I will go to Steelers games, and this Cranberry location is a perfect way to avoid the over inflated hotel rates of the downtown hotels closer to the stadium. Easy to get there though, as you hop on the highway and are at the stadium in 20 minutes. Of course, the hotel is awesome, close to a lot of restaurants and stores. What more can I say? Just stay here!

Dried my kid off with a dirty towel the first night. It has been used and then recorded and put back on the shower rack. I was supposed to be comped my entire pet fee but the next morning they told me I could only be comped half. Nothing about this place is worth the money. Sleep in your car if you have too.

Large, spacious, clean, comfy, room. Reasonably priced. Nice area. Few restaurants that are walking distance. Continental breakfast offered. Good idea...but eggs were cold and HOT water for my tea was warm.

My husband and I had our hotel block at Hyatt Place in Cranberry in August 2022 and it was not as expected. We worked with Michael to set up the block and at first we thought things were going well. Then we heard that our guests had contacted him because they were having issues booking under our block and he never returned their calls. He also told told us the bar would stay open when our guests came back to the hotel after our reception and the bar closed at midnight and didn't serve our guests. Aaron was working that evening and was very rude to me and our guests. It sure why the hotel would refuse business, especially when this was agreed upon previously. Michael was called about this and never returned our calls after our stay. We were not impressed with the service or communication with the staff here. I wouldn't recommend having a room block here!

Well appointed spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Loved the wet bar are in the room. I travel often and have to point out that the staff were the friendliest and most attentive that I have come across. Highly recommend the Hyatt in Cranberry PA. PS -the chocolate chip cookies are definitwly worth the extra calories.
