River House Bar & Grill

Service was pretty good, drinks came out quickly, food came out pretty quick but it was not very warm. My pizza crust was not crisp and it was a very thin crust so it shouldn't have had any issues being crisp. Toppings were not hot either. My husband got the Dad's BBQ tray and most of it was also not hot. It was slightly warm. The hottest item were the baked beans. The food tasted good just wished it had been warmer. The noise level was also quite high and it wasn't even that busy at the time we went.

Food is top notch. Service is top notch. This place is awesome. Last time we were there was mothers day, busy and service was a little slower but they were packed! Lobster rolls were worth the price, shrimp tacks were on point and the burgers are never a bad choice!

Lindsey was the best bartender and server. We had the crab legs and the chicken risotto, cosmopolitan and a grapefruit crush! Everything was good!

Very kind! Very Thoughtful! All people there were terrific! Really made (and Helped!!) Make my Wife and Son feel like they were in the right place for Mother's Day! Tasty food and drinks too! Thank You!

Really nice atmosphere, good music playing, waiting to return to enjoy the outdoor area.

Crab stuffed ravioli and lasagna pizza were great! We went during the day. I think this place would be a lot of fun at night. There is a stage, pool tables and outdoor seating.

We went last night for dinner, it was our first time there and I was really impressed. I got the Blueberry Lemon Mule, so delicious and crisp! We got the Cheesesteak Eggrolls as an appetizer, the peppers and onions in them made them taste really fresh and flavorful. For my main course I got the Greeny Meany with chicken, the chicken was moist and blackened to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

Wings and burgers are great. Service is always good. They have great daily specials that are very worth it. Would be okay if food was $1 more and they could afford to restuff the booth cushions.

Great customer service

First off, the atmosphere is amazing but the RIBS though!!! DELICIOUS!!! Wish this place was in NY! We so enjoyed the food and our server: he was hilarious and took great care of us even made me a special Mocktail that was so good I wish I got the recipe!

One of the chef specials during our visit was BBQ ribs, smoked chicken breast with smoked Mac and Cheese with collard greens. Being a guy who BBQs a-lot, I was excited for this one. But, what I got was steamed ribs drown in BBQ sauce. The rib meat was mush, it literally had no texture and no smoke. The chicken breast was a small skinless boneless piece with no smoke flavor at all. The Mac and cheese and Greens were very good.

My wife got a Boli and her ground beef was not seasoned at all, hardly any cheese, the mushrooms were still raw, and there was hardly any spinach.

My daughter had a burger and she said it was “Okay”, she couldn’t eat the fries as they looked like they have been under a lamp for a few hours.

Son in law had an italian boli and it was loaded with ham and very little of anything else. He said it was rubbery in texture.

We’re locals and have been here many times. The last three visits have been disappointing, but this one was atrocious. I’m a military man and I’ve had some bad meals in my lifetime, But my stomach turns thinking of those ribs.

Our server let our drinks empty. No refills. We got our meals and asked if we needed anything. I said, “utensils” he brought two napkin wrapped knife and fork and asked again, I said “we all need utensils” and he realized he needed to bring two more.

We’re done going here, unfortunately. This was once a great restaurant that had great pizza and even better fish. But the last few experiences had flavorless fish and poor service. I love supporting local businesses and dont like writing reviews like this one, but corners are being cut and someone needs to take accountability. Don't tell patrons your ribs, chicken, and mac n cheese are smoked and none of it is actually smoked.

I’ve never run a kitchen, so I have no idea how you keep the ribs warm, but after scraping off the thick layer of sauce, i tried the meat on its own and there was no smoke flavor. When I do ribs here at home, I put one thin layer of sauce, let that caramelize for 10 minutes, add one more thin layer, and pull them after another 10 minutes. What I received was a glob of sauce straight from a bottle.

In this day and age, I don’t do the “can I see the manager” routine. All of a sudden, the patron becomes a “Karen” and it just doesn’t end well in my experiences. I do appreciate when a restaurant has a manager who introduces themselves and asks how the experience is going. It shows an openness to constructive feedback and diners don't feel like complainers. Sometimes restaurants have an off night so we let it go often times. But last evening, I’m sorry Justin, I couldn’t finish my meal.

We had reservations for 6 at a table and they told us it wasn't written down for a table, we got stuck at a booth very close to the 2 girls singing so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We asked to have it turned down and they turned it down very little, 15 minutes later they turned it back up. They only had 2 menus for 6 people and the food was good but the noise was horrible. Singing that loud at 6 pm was unacceptable and usually turned up later in the evening for the bar crowd. We won't come back,our waitress was great but short waitress staff made her unable to prepare our table with silverware. Very disappointed with the disrespect from the entertainment and the manager should have controlled the speakers since the singers didn't care about the customers.

We dine here often. The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly. I only have one complaint and that is the seating. The booths are so uncomfortable and are so low that it makes it hard to get in and out easily. Every time I make a reservation I request a table however the last two times we were still seated in a booth. When you have a large party (6 or more) and get seated in a booth you are up and down to let people in and out to use the restroom is is just not a relaxing meal.
