River House Bar & Grill

Stopped in today for lunch. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the fish and chips, and the Alfredo with shrimp. Also a cup of coffee. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The appetizer was delivered speedily and was quite tasty with the fried banana peppers. The entree's followed. The fish and chips were well prepared, and the Alfredo with shrimp was excellent. The coffee was good as well. Prices are a bit high for the average person, but again, the food was great.

We had Kai (spelling?) as a server and he was excellent! The food was great, staff was attentive, friendly and fast. The atmosphere was relaxed - it had nice lighting, seating area separate from the bar, overall pretty clean. They were also open later than 95% of the places near by; we were on a weekend getaway and most places were closed due to it being Sunday. Definitely recommend!

Visited as part of a rehearsal dinner. Pizza, wings, and stromboli were great!

This place is right down the road from me, I loved the experience and the wings. As far as I can tell this place is great for an afternoon snack or a late night bar crawl. The drinks were good too not too pricey either. 30$ you and a buddy can have a great time there.

Ate here on Thursday Night and Friday night. Thursday night everything was on point. Hence why we came back on Friday. The service was exceptional.

The kitchen and the bar not so much. French onion soup was on point just like it was on Thursday. Ordered the espresso martini and it was awful. It was watered down and looked like tea. I sent it back. Ordered their version of a blue cheese burger and it was completely raw.
I ordered well done and received bloody red. I immediately could not eat anymore. I asked for a box hoping I can take it home and fix it. It’s a shame because the lady waiting on us was phenomenal. We also ordered sweet potato fries at the upcharge of $1.50 and received regular fries. Had our food bank as good in Friday as it was in Thursday I would be a regular customer. I can’t reasonably spend $50+ per person and be unhappy…. Especially after working a 15 hour shift.

One last note. The DJ on Friday night was phenomenal. If I didn’t have to go home and cook this burger then I would have definitely stayed to dance & have some more drinks…

No. Just… no.

The fish and chips were absolutely flavorless, it just tasted like a deep fried ball of grease. My lemonade tasted completely medicinal, like I was drinking cough syrup. My French onion soup felt homogenized and it came out lukewarm, bordering on too cold.

The fries were decent and our waiter was nice, but that’s really all it has going for it.

Completely disappointed, felt bad driving home. Not coming back.

Stopped in for a quick bite with our toddler on our way through. It was perfect for us! All the staff was so kind and the food was great. I only wish we lived closer!

There was no greeting at the door when said wait to be seated. Once seated waited at least another 15 min to 1/2 hour before anyone acknowledged us for getting drink order. Crabcake and risotto were cold.

I was referred the River House Restaurant by Tom Cooke Sr. Of Ducky's boats after boat shopping on 9/7/24. Excellent choice Tom! We loved the pulled BBQ pork sandwich so much I stopped by the next weekend after attend the Pep Boys Nationals at Maple Grove Speedway and took three sandwiches to go...lol. Great food, excellent service and beers! Definitely worth your time if your in the area Cheers!

With 8 hours notice, our party of 8 came in to a table with a plate of eaten food still on the table. I had to let the server know that we needed silverware after we were served. My $38 entree came out cold. I sent it back. I’m a party of 8 I was the last one eating, feeling rushed because everyone else had finished. The food wasn’t bad, but not amazing. Eh…..

Food and service was good. Our bill got messed up, but was fixed. Menu items were slightly expensive compared to other area restaurants, however they have great specials. There were several tables occupied. Noise level was slightly elevated. My husband had some issues trying to hear the couple we dined with across the table.

Food and service were great!! If they were dog friendly for outdoor seating this would be our new spot.
