It’s not actually in Hershey, which feels a bit misleading. Overall, it was not a great experience. The person who gave us the tour came across as a little domineering, almost like we weren’t supposed to question anything. It felt like, “Yes, we’re not in Hershey, don’t mention it. Here’s some wine, and don’t say if you don’t like it.”
The room in the back seemed very old, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it might have regular lead based paint. I grew up in a home from the 1940s and remember that dry, crackly texture of old paint. While I didn’t see any actual chipping or peeling, and of course nothing was in the food, it was still uncomfortable being in a space that felt that way.
The whole experience just wasn’t enjoyable. She seemed to express zero empathy for the fact I didn't have a coat on a freezing day. I left it in the car because I didn't think I'd need it. She should have said something because I didn't understand we were going to be in the freezing cold. I declined that part and we went back inside.
They advertise wine tastings yet when you get there they say they only do wine flights. You sit in this big banquet hall that sucks with outdoor seating. Most of the dry wines were terrible for $15 flight. This is my third time trying this place. I will never go back
Nice experience. and Lynn gave us a good overview of their history and process.
Most of the wines were unpleasant (think urinal cakes) and not to our taste, and the staff came across as rude and impersonal. Overall, it wasn’t a welcoming experience, and we won’t be returning.
Just did the VIP wine tasting and had a great time. I did the dry and my hubby did the sweet. We liked the sweet best! Actually, bought the chocolate type wine. I also enjoyed the wine they gave us for the
tour.
I was so surprised at all the fun thing they have happening here. Cant wait to come and try some.
My husband and I visited the winery today. The woman at the front desk told us to go over to the bar and select the. wine we wanted to taste. Never bothered to come over to us to explain the process. She was very rude, She treated us with such disrespect. We asked several questions and she handed us a sheet to read about the wines. Which was great, we wish she would’ve done that to begin with. Oh and by the way, the sheet she handed us was out dated. two of the wines we requested were no longer available. Once we got past that awful experience, she then pointed to the other room and said have a seat. She comes into the room with the wine choices in little plastic cups. I asked her do you have wine glasses? Again, she seemed annoyed that I would ask for wine glasses . The wine was good, but I was so disappointed in the customer service. We will never go back again.
This winery and brewery offers great entertainment, including live music, which was the main reason we chose to visit. During our time there, we enjoyed performances from two different musicians, both of whom were great. The combination of the music and the view created a relaxing atmosphere.
However, I did encounter a couple of issues during my visit. First, I got a bottle of wine, and it was warm, then the server give me a plastic cup to drink from. Wine is suppose to be served chilled in a proper glass. This brings me issue: the use of plastic cups for both beer and wine. I believed that wine should be served in a glass and atmosphere the right temperature. One of the main reasons I enjoy visiting wineries is my love for wine. However, these were minor issues that certainly won't prevent us from returning. I also recommend bringing your own food and snacks, because their only available option was small bags of pretzels.
WE LOVED the Winery and Brewery of Hershey. We booked to stay there through Harvest Hosts as FULL-TIME RVers. The Winery is beautiful. Lyn and her staff were very gracious. And the fact we were not wine drinkers did not matter:) We did a tasting, bought a bottle and enjoyed! We lucked out that during our 3 night stay the Winery hosted a Reggae festival with food truck and live band. Super fun!
Here for the summer concert series. A complete joke. No one knows what is going on and the owner was rude and unprofessional. Never again.
Purchased tickets for an event (sushi making) on a Sunday at 12pm. Arrived around 11:05am after a 90 minute drive. As we were waiting in the car for the start time, I happened to check my email around 11:25am to find a notification that the event had been cancelled - the email was sent from them at 11:15am.
You can imagine our surprise and upset of the very late notice. as we are on-site waiting.
I emailed the business to vent my frustration and requested a response, as well, I called and left a voicemail, also asking for a response - and I have not yet heard from them.
I'm not quite sure how you run events and provide 45 minutes notice of cancellation, and the notice is sent via email not a direct call. Had I not checked my email, I wouldn't have found out about the cancellation until the start time.
The lack of organization and the lack of customer service (not
responding to email or voicemail 8' addition to cancelling 45 minutes prior by email) is a major detriment to their business. I have already reached out to Visit Lebanon County and LebTown, where I found this event and notified them of this and suggested they reconsider advertising their events.
It's a shame a business that should be great for locals, tourists, visitors, etc. manages events in this way.

I came here for salsa and bachata night. The deck views are nice.
Delicious wine - beautiful views
We visited the Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the live music added the perfect vibe to the celebration.
The wine was absolutely delicious—smooth, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. But the real surprise favorite of the day was the bourbon tea—so refreshing and unique!
The staff was friendly, and everything was well-organized. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable day out!
Did some investigation on the website ahead of time, was really intrigued on the different beers and wines they had listed as options. Did not have a good experience at all. Went in for a wine and beer tasting. Woman who took care of us, told us that the beer tasting wasn't to be done here, but gave us no other insight as to where it was done. Then to set up for the wine tasting, she didn't even give me the wine descriptions list so I had to choose wines blindly. When it came time to the actual wine tasting, she knew nothing about any of the wines. She couldn't give you any insight other than the name. During this time, a group showed up for a scheduled tour. As soon as this happened, we got rushed to finish our tasting so she could begin handling the tour. We went down to the patio where a live band was setting up, so that intrigued us. At the bar, that is where we found out we could do beer flights. Only problem with that was, they only had a selection of 6 to choose from. All of the ones mentioned on the website, no where to be found. Asked the bartender, and she didn't even hear of the names that I was mentioning. The patio itself with the band was a very nice setting. You could sit back and relax, and enjoy the music. That is the only good, positive thing I can say about this winery. One of the worst ones I've ever been to as far as customer service and the experience itself. I'm well known for taking a case home with me from every winery I do a tasting at. I think it speaks for itself that we left empty handed. Will make a point of not returning.
Extremely unorganized and the wine is overpriced and honestly not good at all the owner is rude and treats employees terrible
