First time to the Forest Hotel. Great atmosphere, clean very nice. Waitress was great very attentive checking how we were doing. Food was good. Great fresh fries and wings were good also. I got a chicken cheesesteak. Very tasty, but the rolls were not. Soft and good but did not hold up to the meat inside. Nothing makes a sandwich fail like one bite into sandwich and all of my filling is on the plate. Had to eat it with a fork. Other than that a nice place.

We have ate here many times as We live about 8 miles away. The place is nice and clean and the staff very friendly. Beer is cold and the food good. Our favorites are the onion petals and hamburgers are cooked as ordered.
Awesome time!!!!

It’s was horrible. The food comes from microwave. My mac and cheese was cold inside. So as my stake. It’s seems like the food was sitting there for a while. Not going back.
Food usually good,I return.

Honestly the best restaurant within a 100 mile radius or more! Atmosphere, staff, and the food! To die for. You can’t miss this stop when you’re in town or driving by.
Fun restaurant with affordable prices. We got our food pretty fast. We got three appetizers-the nachos supreme, fried cheese curds, and onion rings. The nachos were meh - I would love to see house made tortilla chips instead of Tostitos! The cheese curds were delicious, and we loved the marinara that came with it! The onion rings were tasty but lacked flavor. The food was good in some cases but not in others. DO NOT get the steak - it was like eating an old venison hunk of meat! The Mac and cheese platter was served with cold Mac and cheese that tasted like it was made with velveeta. The barbecue sauce that was on it was delicious, though! I got the Pittsburgh salad which was crispy and refreshing, but a tad mediocre. I’d love to see real bacon instead of the store bought bits. The Italian dressing was a big highlight though! A couple of people at our table ordered burgers or sandwiches, and they were all 10/10, so I’d say that this is the area where Forest House shines. It really is just a matter of determining what they do well and sticking with that!

This is a local rural bar, with excellent elevated food. The wings were top notch. I’ve heard numerous times that the burgers are too. But I would try anything they are serving. GREAT food. Seems kind of like the American version of an Irish/English pub. Families, all ages, great food, local connections.
