First time impressions are important. Friendly staff, only able to go by what we ordered it was sub par. Waitress brought wrong side dishes. Would have liked to see bus boy clean table with something other than dirty dish rag, at least spray some cleaner. After many reviews this is first one I gave that was not favorable, might have been out of their norm.

Should be called the Midford diner because the food here is just so mid. Would not recommend the chicken salad. They don’t have any tables or booths with outlets so it’s not a good diner to bring your laptop.

Be careful. It appears that the diner has resorted to highway robbery. We had a burger platter, substituted sweet potato fries for the regular fries. Was charged a $2.75 upgrade charge. When you look on the menu, there is only a 50 cents difference in price between regular fries and sweet potato fries, yet they still insist on the exorbitant $2.75. When I showed the young man at the cash register what I was talking about, he could have cared less. He was rather pleased to have ripped off another customer. I have been a regular, faithful customer here but NO MORE. Milford diner, I hope thar $2.75 funds your retirement!!!

I was Ted to leave a 5 star review almost the moment I walked in! Not only did it have some of the best food and atmosphere than I’ve had in a long time, but I believe that was the fastest I’ve been sat and served too!
We really enjoyed our dining experience at Milford Diner. The selection was amazing... so much to choose from! Too bad we were just passing through as we'd definitely like to sample more from their menu. The portions were plenty, and the service was fast and friendly. If you ever find yourself in the area and are hungry, you won't be disappointed. Happy centennial (in 2027!!)

Served HOT water with a metal spoon in the glass! Asked the server for cold water after my husband nearly burnt his tongue, was told it only comes out hot! My food, garden omelette had zero taste and the eggs, if that’s what they really were, dry, not sure if there was any cheese in the omelette. Home fries had no taste and my rye toast seemed as though salt was added to the butter. My husband gave his pastrami Rueben a 5 which is more than I can say for mine. The server never came back to ask how our food was. Although I ate only half of my plate with no intentions of finishing my plate was whisked away without even asking me if I was done. My husband’s was also taken away without asking when he still needed to eat his side dish and had to ask for his fork back. By far the worst experience I have had in a very long time.

This diner is absolutely what I needed after a long day of hiking! I had a party melt and a strawberry shake, and both were excellent! It was comfy, old school, and the staff were warm and friendly! Big thumbs up for me!!

I've been driving past this place since 1983 when I moved to NY. I finally stopped in and was very pleased with the quick and friendly service, good quality food and good portion size. I will be eating here when I roll though Milford in the future.
