We went to Tequila Sunrise for dinner after reading other reviews and figured that we would give it a shot. We have driven by the place many times over the last 3 years, but kind of judged the book by it's cover.Upon entering the establishment, you kind of get the feeling of, "Oh man. This food is going to be good.". The decor definitely makes you feel like you've been transported to a small Mexican Village. We were greeted, seated, had or orders taken by, and served by the owner/Head Chef. I had the Burrito California with steak, and my wife had Ground Beef Tostadas. The food was delicious! Neither of us left hungry or with a speck of food left on our plates. Our meals with soft drinks came to about $34.Overall, it was a great dining experience and we will be repeat customers.

We stopped here after checking out a waterfall near by and I’m so glad we found this hidden gem! Quesadilla was a full portion, not just 4 pieces. The hard shell tacos were delicious! My daughter loved the yellow rice! Can’t wait to come back!

In short, AMAZING food at a small place. It is definitely worth a stop!This may be some of the best Mexican styled food I have ever had. The seasonings are not spicy and were very flavorful!For example, I usually am not a huge fan of refried beans but theirs were flavorful beyond just the bean taste. I will echo what others have said, this is probably the best guacamole I have ever had.My only critique is there is no kid meal portions, so my two kids split 3 tacos and loved it. For parents with picky kids, there are peppers mixed into the beef tacos.Whether you are a traveler or a local, this place is a must try!

Slow down or you might miss it! This little place is a must-go! The owner/chef was super friendly, came out to greet us when we walked in, took our order personally. The food was great. Maybe the best guac I've ever had.... Warm tortillas with just the right amount of salt. Unable to really decide what to get, I got a "Mexico City" combo platter - very happy with that. If you are in the area and like Mexican food, heck if you like ANY food, do yourself a favor and try this place.
