This place was a complete gem. Everything we had was exquisite. It’s quaint and wholesome. We tried the Vietnamese noodles, Bon me, pork and duck pate, cubano sandwich on a gluten free bun and the flavors were incredible. Highly recommend the cubano. We ended with a gluten-free banana pudding that was delightful
Awesome spot. Good food, family run and worth a visit.

Waterwheel Cafe and Bar - 5 Stars
Such a charming spot in PA! The cozy, rustic wooden interiors create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I loved the vibe of this place, perfect for a casual meal with friends.
We had a bit of a wait (about 20 minutes) before being seated, but it was well worth it!
I started with the Vietnamese coffee, which was fresh and light, with a hint of sweetness already added—just how I like it! For my meal, I had the Banh Mi sandwich. It needed a touch of salt and some hot sauce, but once adjusted, it was absolutely delicious.
Although I didn’t personally try everything, I snapped a few pictures of the dishes my friends ordered, and everything looked fantastic. We were all very happy with our meals, and it’s great that they had decent vegetarian options available.
Our server was friendly and pleasant, making the whole experience even better. It’s a wonderful spot for conversation, and we had a great time.
Highly recommend this cute gem!

We love stopping by here to pick up desserts before visiting with friends. All the desserts we've tried so far have been terrific(5 for food). The staff is really nice and accommodating.
They get an overall 4 because of the way their space is set up and for lack of posted pricing. The way the space is set up makes for a little bit of crowding at their counter, and if there are more than two people it's hard to tell who is next(4 for atmosphere). Also, their pastries have no prices posted, they only have a piece of paper behind the counter for their staff to read (4 for service).
We recently stopped in for brunch, the food was terrific and service was also great.

This was a cute dining room, and my mesclun salad was excellent, so I had high hopes, but the entree special,. hazelnut crusted pork chop, was tough and flavorless, and the mashed potatoes and kale were no better. My partner's duck--a tasty bird-- was spoiled by an egregiously bad sauce. I only write up our experience because I was drawn to this place by some glowing reviews, which I thought it did not measure up to.

Sky & Jessica know how to communicate and run a business effectively. The 4 times I have come to visit (as an adult) the inside is jam packed & is not comfortable, very hot. So we requested a table for 2 outside so we waited 15 mins. It was enjoyable outside. I honestly don’t ever want to eat here inside, I feel like I can’t breathe, let alone everyone is on top of one another. I heard brunch is great but can’t seem to get there before it ends. The vegetarian options at least exist here, unlike most other place in these non-progressive areas.
Vegetarian options: Could use improvement.
Parking: Parking on both sides if main lot is full.

We drive over an hour just to visit this gem! Every single breakfast, lunch and dessert we’ve had there has been delicious. Spent our 20-year anniversary there and have brought special guests there. Love the tour of the water mill also!
This is a sweet cafe housed in a historic old mill. The water wheel is still functional and available to see for those who are interested. The food was quite good. Ample seating both indoor and out. Service was fast, though drink refills did not get attended. I recommend the Vietnamese Noodle Bowl. Very tasty!

Place is absolutely incredible. Delicious food&drinks, amazing staff and atmosphere! Unmatched dining experience especially for this area ( pike county PA ). On top of the restaurant being great they also have an I house bakery and coffee shop that’s out of this world. If you’re in the area and looking for a delicious bite to eat this is hands down the best spot. One problem is the lines to get in on the weekend for that I give a 4 for atmosphere!
Parking: Parking is limited especially on weekends often lines to wait just to park.
Kid-friendliness: My kids spilled my wife’s chai latte when it was almost done they refilled it and didn’t charge us! Place is great
