Walked in with our family (4 people) a little after 5 pm. There was a guy standing in the vestibule who just stared at us as we walked in. He shouted at us when we started to open the "bar" side door. We had never been here and didn't realize there was a difference (they both led to the same hallway with no separation). We apologized, saying we just wanted to get dinner on the restaurant side, but he then insisted on looking at one of our ID's to get in to the restaurant "because we had two kids with us (they are 18yo and 19yo). After looking at my ID for a good 30 seconds (I'm over 50!) he proceed to tell me that I'd be in a lot of trouble if my son or his girlfriend had alcohol. Really? Kind of obvious if you ask me and we just wanted dinner! He then told my son he looked 16 and his girlfriend could pass for 12. Again, not really a big deal, but why insult us before we are even in the door? Anyway, we sat down and the waitress was fantastic. Kept drinks filled and was very pleasant and attentive all evening. Appetizers were OK. Ordered a pretzel which was very good and onion rings which were fair (little greasy and not very crispy). Our family ordered two different burgers, Mac and Cheese, chicken strips, and a brisket for dinner. The brisket was fair but unfortunately the rest of the food was pretty bad. Both burgers were both extremely salty. The Mac and Cheese had a horrible chemical taste and was basically inedible. The chicken strips were extremely overdone, very thin, and bone dry. Our check ended up being $94 dollars before tip which was very high for basically "bar food" (and obviously no alcohol), especially considering the lousy quality of food served. As we were leaving, we noticed no one was at the door checking ID's anymore and people were freely going in and out. Really strange. The only redeeming factor of the entire experience was our waitress. There are very few places that I would not give a second try, but this is definitely one of them.

Had our family there for a gathering about 3 weeks ago and had a great time. The food was delicious! The potatoe soup was out of the world! It was so delicious my mother in law had one there and then ordered one to take home for the next day. We will definitely be coming back! Wonderful place for food and the staff is wonderful as well too.

It was a pleasant surprise to drop into a place that was new to us and find a gem. The order of fries was large. We ordered 2 different soups which both had great flavor. Perfect order on a rainy day!

Had a good experience when I visited with my brother. The Hawaiian Heat wings were terrific. I also got the pepper jack burger which exceeded my expectations. Depends when you go, it can get a bit crowded but that’s not a bad thing necessarily. The serve we had did a good job
I absolutely love Jack's. Finally decided to try it and I'm so mad I waited in the first place. Sorry, but I feel it's a bit outdated on the inside. But that will never stop me from going. The food, location, and great service will keep us coming back!
