The Upper Deck Reviews
They don't take into consideration how their plans will affect students. For all of the money that we're spending to have these meal plans, we deserve much better food. The new meal plan chedules are unnacceptable. How are students with early classes supposed to eat breakfast? I'm appalled at this decision, and we deserve better.
There are so many things wrong with how dining is run at this university. The quality of the food is lacking. I get the impression that they're going for quantity over quality; which would be fine, if they didn't charge us an arm and a leg for a meal plan. The declining balance system is quite possibly one of the most harmful things to upcoming students (and frankly most undergraduate students attending), and the fact that it’s been paired with the establishment of paying more for each laundry load and inflated tuition costs makes this decision feel ignorant of the power of the swipe-based meal plan— if not blatantly predatory upon newer students.
