Stumbled on this place while they were having a backyard concert and listened to them for a while. Everyone was very friendly and they also had a tortoise living in the yard who loved to get shell pets.
Friendly neighborhood, down to earth bar. It's got the Goldilocks effect. Not too much of anything- It's... just right. Clean, but cozy. Relaxing, but not boring. Not too bright, but not some dark, scary hole in the wall. Affordable, but not 'cheap'. I wish I lived closer.
Classic old school bar. The bartenders and the owner are great people and are staples of the community. The prices are great. The back yard area is cool and the live music never lets down.
