I have owned land in millville since 1990. I remember when the dairy barn was established. I never actually had the option to stop by and try it, because of dietary restrictions. I have Celiac's, diabetes, IBD, Congenital Myopathy. This has led to a Gluten free, dairy free, nightshade free, sugar free, non inflammatory diet. Even with all that, I was still able to get ice cream that was GF, if I could eat dairy. Grilled chicken salad or sandwich, without the bun. Or the pulled...
I like to stop in and get their 24 flavor ice cream. You use to get a good size cone for a total of $3.75. This year they apparently changed the size of the cone and you only get half of what you use to get for the same price. I've stopped a couple times for a cone and was very disappointed. Don't think I'll be getting anymore, not worth the money.
We've always been fans of Frans icecream and food, but the new owners have also turned it into a lovely place to hang out. A big plus for me is that while dogs can't come inside, they're welcome at the outdoor pavilion and they serve "pup cups".
