Everything, except the wait staff, they are courageous working in that atmosphere. Extremely long wait times with no food. Discourteous owner, blamed us for not knowing it would be slow service with no offer of consideration. Been going there on and off for many years. No more, there’s plenty of other places in the area with better service.
5 star price tag for a no star value steak. my carrots were the highlight to my dinner.
We used to love this place but unfortunately our most recent experience may have ruined it for us. They were very rude about our desire to sit outside despite the beautiful weather. Further, it took an hour and a half to get our entrees. I paid $26 for one crab cake that had very clearly sat under a heat lamp for a long time. The bottom was burnt and chewy and it was extremely dry. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Emily's is a charming restaurant with a fascinating history and outstanding food. The flatbread is good, but the Caesar salad falls short with tasteless dressing and reheated chicken. The building exudes old-world elegance, and the staff is welcoming and eager to share its history. The salmon special was slightly overcooked, and the prime rib came out rarer than expected, but the attentive server made up for it. The prices are on the higher side, but the overall experience is not bad. The restaurant offers a grand tour of the property and a banquet room with a lovely view. Emily's is a hidden gem worth a visit for a unique dining experience.
